Janette and Miles knocked on the door, Ana opened the door and let them in. “Ana it’s so good to see you.” “It’s good to see you too.” “Come in we are in the kitchen.” They all started to walk into the kitchen when another knock on the door came. Ana opened the door to see Harold. “Good evening please come in.” “Thank you Ana.” “Dad what are you doing here?” Janette was surprised to see her dad there. “We will explain everything soon. Let’s go sit with the others.” They walked into the kitchen and sat down with everyone else.

“We have something to tell you all. Alpha Stan of the Red pack is trying to kidnap Ana. He is a horrible person and thinks he owns every female he encounters. He use to be my mate years ago. Your mother, Jennifer, was killed by him because she kept rejecting his advances towards her. She did not kill my sister or herself. Alpha Stan killed my sister because she rejected him too. Jennifer was my dearest friend when I was luna there. She helped us escape from that horrible man. I only wish I could have saved her before he killed her.” Dustin and Janette sat in shock, trying to process what they had just been told. “Why did you not tell us this sooner about what happened to our mom?” Dustin was upset and had every right to be. They had their mom taken from them at an early age. “We felt it best to not burden you with the details until you were older. We didn’t want the hatred you would have developed to affect you the rest of your lives. We were afraid you wouldn’t be as happy and successful as you are now. We did it to protect you.” Dustin sat and thought about it while they all talked. Harold turned to Dustin, “son I’m sorry we didn’t tell you all sooner. Please forgive us.” “Dad there’s nothing to forgive. You’re right, if you would have told us at an early age then we wouldn’t have grown up to be as successful. I understand why you did not tell us.” Harold hugged his son. “Thank you Dustin for understanding.”

“I don’t understand so that means Alpha Stan is my grandfather? Does he know about us grandma?” Mrs. Matthews looked down for a moment. “Yes it’s true he is your grandfather. He had done horrible things and I left with your mom and uncle to save us from him. I never told you about him because he is an evil man. Yes, he does know about us as well. I am surprised he found out who you are though. I will have to find out who told him and how he found out. He is a very dangerous man Ana. We must protect you no matter what. It will be your 21st birthday in a month. Dustin can you keep her at your cabin? Ana can you do remote work?” Dusting nodded, “she will stay at my cabin if she wishes. I won’t make her go against her will though.” Ana, dare I say gushed over Dustin’s answer. “I have everything set up that I can postpone opening my restaurant. I have sold enough paintings that I will be ok to stay with Dustin and be out of sight. I hope that he can’t find me there.”

Everyone was on edge hearing about Stan and his evil ways. “What exactly did you mean know about you?” Janette was a bit confused. “We are descendants of the Moon Goddess. And on our 21st birthday she grants us special abilities. So that is probably the reason why Alpha Stan wants me. He probably thinks he can use me to rule the world.” Mrs. Matthews nodded in agreement. “I wouldn’t put anything passed him. Do not go looking for him and keep your eyes open. It might be a good idea to think about getting a safe house for us to go to.” “I have another house no one else knows about and it is isolated away from anyone within a four hundred mile radius. If we need to use that we can. I had it built a few years ago. I planned to make an official pack for all of us rogues who are making it every day. I just hadn’t had the time to sit everyone down.” They all looked stunned. “That is amazing Dustin. You would make an amazing alpha. If we need to go there then that would be perfect.” “We can all go there this weekend. I will fly us there in the helicopter.” Ana was surprised, “you have a helicopter?” Everyone chuckled, “it appears I forgot to mention I’m a billionaire.” Ana’s mouth fell open. “You got some drool coming out there Ana.” Mrs. Matthews said to her teasingly.

“We are going to head to my cabin. There is enough room for everyone to come there. I would prefer we all stick together and not be sitting ducks for Stan to strike. We can take a couple vehicles. Mrs. Matthews, Ana and Janette can help you get what you need packed and ready. Then we will head to Janette and Miles’ home and they will do the same with their belongings. We will head to dad’s last since his is on the way to the cabin. Janette, you and Miles take your SUV so we have room to load luggage.” Ana kissed Dustin on the cheek then went to help her grandma pack her belongings. It didn’t take them long to get all of her stuff packed and loaded in the SUV. “Don’t worry grandma, we will be back before you know it.” Mrs. Matthews smiled, “I know dear. I am more worried about everyone else’s safety.”

They loaded the SUV up at each house. Finally they were done and heading to Dustin’s cabin. “I had my maid stock the cabin with plenty of food for all of us. Are you going to be ok living with me and not being able to be in your apartment?” Ana looked at Dustin. She always liked him. They were friends for a long time. “I am ok with it. I get to be with my mate and family.” “Don’t forget Trudy.” They both chuckled. “How could I forget about her?” Everything went smoothly on the way to the cabin. “Ana why don’t you, Janette, and your grandma go ahead inside while we take the luggage to the rooms. Are you ok with being in my room Ana?” Ana blushed, “I’m ok with that.” They headed in and let the guys take the luggage inside. Trudy came running up to Ana wagging her tail. She was so happy to see Ana. Ana giggled, “I’m happy to see you too girl.”

Janette, Mrs. Matthews, and Ana followed the guys to the rooms to see which rooms they would be in. It was pretty late, but everyone was still a bit tense from what all was revealed. “Anyone hungry? I am starving.” Dustin chuckled at Ana, “I am hungry too. Let’s go to the kitchen and make everyone some food.” They all went to the kitchen and Ana made some French Toast and Dustin cut up fruit to go with it. Ana started frying some hash browns and ham. “That smells so good Ana. I can’t wait to taste it.” Everyone agreed with Mrs. Matthews, even Sif as she jumped up and down. Once everyone ate they all said goodnight and headed to their rooms.

“You can take a shower first if you like Ana. I will put your clothes up while you’re in there.” Ana walked up to Dustin and kissed him. “Thank you Dustin.” Dustin stood there in a love struck spell by her kiss. She tasted so good and felt so right. Ana went to walk away, but Dustin grabbed her waist and turned her around. “Where do you think you’re going?” Ana giggled, “to take a shower.” “Maybe I need to have another kiss before you head into the shower.” Ana smiled and leaned up to kiss him again but walked away before their lips met. She ran into the bathroom and shut the door. “That wasn’t very nice little mate.” Dustin growled at her playfully. Ana giggled again, “how about I give you another kiss when I get out of the shower?” Dustin chuckled, “we will see if I am wanting one when you get out.” He could hear her huffing her response. Dustin got all of the clothes put away for Ana by the time she was done with her shower. “Oh thank you Dustin for putting my stuff away.” She walked over and got on her tip toes, “you still want a kiss?” Dusting chuckled, “I might possibly want one.” He leaned down and captured her lips before she could respond. He kissed her so deep and long she started to feel dizzy. Dustin pulled away finally, “you taste so good Ana.” Ana blushed, “shall we go to bed?”
