Unyielding Love

Chapter 3

Elena couldn't look at Darren straight in the eye as she gulped her own Saliva. Her mind stopped work as time goes by. She keeps on thinking about this cliche moment she was in. She tries to look into Darren's eyes but failed as she blushed 

"Are you scared of me?" asked Darren as he looks at Elena with an Alluring gaze and a smirk to top it all up

"N-No, I-I'm just nervous" said Elena as she gulped again, making Darren chuckle in return as he found her cute, shaking his head in the process

"Are you sure? because it seems like you're pretty scared of me right now" said Darren as he quickly looks at his door, he smelled a familiar scent and he sensed that the person is moving at great speed towards him

"Elena right? If you do this right I'll make you my secretary at once" said Darren as he grew nervous. He looks at the astounded Elena who looks at him like he's a mad person. 

He couldn't possibly just accept Elena without talking to her. What if she's a bad person? Well, technically she's not but still!

"O-Of course! wh-" Elena was cut off when Darren stood abruptly and pointed at the door on the left corner of his office. She looks at the door with confusion in her eyes as she doesn't know what Darren will make her do

She gasped as an idea popped into her head making her place her hands on her body as she stares at Darren. Darren looked at her with confusion in his eyes as he chuckled

"What are you doing? I'm not doing that to you" said Darren

"Brew me a coffee, and If I liked the tase, you're hired" said Darren as he gazes back to the door of his office

"Y-Yes!" said Elena as she stood up and looked quickened her steps towards the door

Elena opened the door and went inside, and the door to his office opened with a great force. Darren smirked at the lady that just went inside. Darren's smirked at the girl with blood all over her body. Her eyes were deep red and her fangs are showing. With tears on her face, she plopped down at the floor as Darren walked over to her with great speed

"I warned you on your first day, Don't be fooled by lust" said Darren as in a blink of an eye, Three (3) guys appeared behind her

"I'm sorry Boss, she killed the mortal that's guarding her" said the one vampire who seems to be the boss of the three other vampires as he kicked the girl a tthe abdomen. She curled up in a ball and cries silently as her insatiable hunger got the best of her

"Good, He's been letting out newborns after he r***d them. and do you know where he hides the Vervain? that's a litle troublesome." said Darren as the two behind the Leaders' back took the girl on her arms and their leader shooks his head

"No sir, we tried to look everywhere but there's till no sign on the Vervain" said the Leader

"that mortal is only surviving because of that. But this newborn killed him " said the Leader 

"After Milleniums of fooling the hunters think that Silver and Wood is our weakness, I don't want them knowing that Blood with Vervain is the most potent when it comes tokilling us. Well, you because I'm your source and there's  only one way to kill me" said Darren as his followers looked at him with sympathy. They've known that sooner or later, he will disappear and the first Vampire he turned will inherit his source and making it his own

Clang! 

All of them turned their head towards the door they heard the sound from. The leader motioned his one guy to check but Darren used his abilities and petrified the vampire. The leader and the other one looked at him with confusion as they do not know why he did that

"I know her, don't worry" said Darren and he released the vampire from his grasp an all of them disappeared in a blink of an eye

Darren then walked towards the door as he opened it and saw that the vent from his Coffee room was pried open. Darren showed his fangs in anger as he turned into a black mist and entered the vent

"Come on Elena, you can do this!" said Elena as she made her way around the vents. She heard the conversation Darren had with his minions. She's still trembling in fear as she saw an empty room just beneath her. 

She used her elbows to knock the vent opening down. She moved a bit and lowered her lower half on to the ceiling and successfully got down. She ran towards the door as relief enguled her. She's finally safe, or so she thought.

In a blink of an eye, Daren appeared out of nowhere as he blocks Elena's way out.

"Do you think you can run away from me with that information?" asked Darren as he took a step forward, making Elena stumble backwards

"I-I didn't hear anything. I promise!" said Elena as she felt like her life would end today

Her body was trembling in fear as she looked towards Darren's eyes. The deep red eyes of Darren makes her weak down to her core as she couldn't take her eyes away even if she wanted to 

"Then why are you running away? and from the vent?" asked Darren as he made a 'tsk tsk tsk tsk' sound

"I-I, I saw a rat! I was just running after it to kill it" said Elena as she gulped in fear when her bacck collided with the wall behind her

"Oh really? Where's the rat?" asked Darren as Elena gave up and pushed Darren aside, running towards the door in full speed. She was about to touch the doorknob when she felt her body stopped moving.

She couldn't move an inch even if she tried to. She looked to her sides as she felt a cold presence behind her making her shiver in both fear and cold. 

"You do know that you cannot run away from me right?" said Darren as tears went down on Elena's face 

"You-" Darren was cut off when Elena's body dropped dead on the floor.

their abilities only work when a human is awake or else their ablities was just useless to sleeping and unconscious human, like Elena. But if you're as powerful as Darren, you can ignore that. Except Body Manipulation which uses the person's strength against him 

"Did I scare her that much?' said Darren as he sighed in disappointment

"Now I have to carry this girl back to my house" said Darren as he used his Telekenesis to levitate Elena's body. And with just that, Darren leaped through time and the next thing he knew, he's inside his mansion deep in the forests 

"You've finally met your doom, Darren" said an old Hag who used the appearance of a rat and jumped down from the ceiling, turning back into an old woman

"Hey you! what are you doing here?" said the guard as he looked side to side and saw no one. The guard showed his fangs and was about to attack the old woman, but with a flick of her hand, the Vampire was sent flying to his side, wrecking the wall upon impact

"You filthy animals!" said the old woman as she turned into white mist and disappeared
