Kylie POV
I'm standing in the kitchen cutting vegetables up helping with dinner, I needed to try and distract myself from the girls.
I'm trying to keep busy while the girls show Gill around now that we have finished. They were super excited to show off our clans home.
Freddy and Melvin have gone to discuss business in the office, so I'm cutting vegetables.
I'm so sad Lilley and Layla are leaving, but I know they need this. I just wish I had more time with them.
We have just about finished dinner when I feel Freddys arms circle me. I've been so lost inside my head I hadn't even notice him come in "come on, the girls want to show us something" he kissed the back of my neck making me lean back into him and moan.
"Do that again," I say, hoping he does "mmm" as he did it again. "We better go before I take you here," he moaned out against my neck. My knickers were soaked, and I want him to take me now, I can never get too much of him. A cough from behind us gets our attention. I turn and see Melvin chuckling. "we better go," he said and walked out.
"I forget my surroundings sometimes" I try to explain to Melvin because I felt a little embarrassed, he's our guest and it's not very professional "having mates does that to you, me and Gill are still the same even now" he chuckled and I feel better already. Freddy squeezed my hand gently, giving me a smile.
We walk around behind the school and it's so colourful. It's a park, a big climbing frame, swings, slides and a big roundabout the kids are going to love it.
I pick up my pace to where Gill stands waiting for us while Lilley and Layla are playing with the other kids.
The sound was like music to my ears, hearing all their happy squeels, laughing, and talking.
"Thankyou so much" I hug Gill "you're welcome but it was the girls idea" I don't think the Royals and their people understand how much they have given us but I'll forever be grateful to them.
"Freddy, Kylie, do you like it?" Layla shouts when she spots us, and before we know it her and Lilley are standing in front of us. My eyes are wide because that's the first time they blurred and I know that Vampires don't get their gifts until they reach 14years old but I'm not even sure why I'm shocked with how they are. They have gained their gifts from such an early age it shouldn't be a surprise.
"Wow, my speedy sisters, when did this happen?" Freddy smiled, hugging them as they giggled. "we just did it silly." Lilley laughed as Freddy tickled them.
"Can we try something?" they asked now, all serious "of course" he smiled at them "ok we need you to kneel silly bum" Layla sassed then laughed "ok bossy boots" he rolled his eyes and huffed making them both laugh.
I love how he is with them, and I know that when our time comes, he will be an amazing daddy.
The girls hold hands and placed their other hands on Freddys temples "ok can you think of just our mums" Layla asks but as soon as the words leave her mouth the smile dissappeared from Freddys face "why girls what is going on?" he looked at them concerned, lifting his hands to their cheeks gently "girls are you ok? I'm sorry I don't have anything to give you of your mums" He says sadly "we are good, please it's a surprise, just think of them both please" Lilley says with hopeful eyes but still no explanation and I could see Freddy swaying because he can never say no to the girls "ok" was all he said and closed his eyes.
After a little while, the girls' eyes went white, and their magic was circling around them.
I can't do anything but stare in aww at any time that they are using their magic.
I see a beautiful statue start to appear of two beautiful women with their arms linked and smiling. I can't help the tears escape and fall down my face. It's breathtaking. 'It's beautiful, isn't it?' Janey said, feeling as grateful as me to the two women for Freddy, Layla, and Lilley.
When they were done, they took their hands from freddys face. "We hope you like it," Layla says softly, and Freddy opens his eyes.
The amazement and love in his eyes was a sight to see "mum, Cara," he said so quietly with a few tears falling from his eyes.
He picked the girls up. "You two are amazing, and I'm so proud of you both. Please don't stop being you and try everything you want ok" he said, hugging and kissing their cheeks.
"We will," they said as one and hugged him back as tight as they could.
We had some dinner and spent the rest of the day at the park, we wanted to spend as much time with them as possible.
It was starting to get dark, and it was time to say goodbye to our girls.
Their bags were in the boot of the car, and they were excited about travelling in the big car.
"Right, you two cuties be good, and please call us so we know you're ok, Gill has our numbers," I say, hugging them both so tight. I'm trying not to cry because I want them both to head off to their new homes without worry or sadness. I know this is great for them but I'm going to miss them so much.
"My little monkeys, I'm going to miss you so much so don't be strangers ok" Freddy was down on his knees holding them as they both hugged him back so tight "and it's ok if you want to call them mummy and daddy" he whispered even though he knew we could hear him. I could see tears appear in Gills' eyes, and I know she deserves the love of the girls as much as the girls deserve hers.
I hug both Gill and Melvin. "You're all going to be so happy, but if you need us, we are here." "thanks Kylie that means a lot." Melvin smiled.
We all said our goodbyes, and they climbed into the car and drove away with them waving through the back window. I could see the tears on the girls' faces, so I knew they were being brave for us. Such clever girls.
I cried as soon as the car was out of sight, and Freddy held me while we both had a minute.
"Come on, let's get in," he said, and we entered the house.
It's going to be hard getting used to the twins not being here.
