Third person POV
Everyone has been working so hard, and the whole place looks amazing, with proper buildings and houses, but the most impressive of all was the smiles and sounds of laughter. The builders have been working flat out determined to give the clan a home. They dont understand how much this means to the clan.
They are all so grateful for the return of Madaline, but they have all expressed that they feel that the clan has been through so much and deserve a home.
It has been so many years since any help has come to them, or even tried to help them. The whole place was lit up with laughter, smiles, and happiness, and that is the biggest gift.
The plan has become a reality.
The main house was humongous.
Built with beautiful red brick with wide windows, with shutters and a huge front door.
Kylies favourite is the wrap around porch. She can see herself and Freddy sitting out there watching over their happy clan, children, and even grandchildren, and it filled her with complete joy.
Freddy was watching everything unfold and was blown away with the generosity shown to them. It's the first time that he's ever witnessed his people being so carefree and happy.
All he can think about was what if.. what if he had a normal father.. what if he had helped them all sooner.. what if he could have ended his father years before? He would have his mother here with them.. his head is full of what ifs and sadness started seeping into him. Weighing him down.
Kylies warm hand in his takes him from his thoughts. "What's wrong?" she asks with concern. She can feel his emotions through their bond, but she is confused at the sadness he feels. This is a good day filled with happiness "just thinking if I could have done this sooner" but she knew that wasn't even a possibility "you know as well as I do that wouldn't have been possible, you kept everyone as safe as you could" but her words do nothing to ease him "but did I, I wish I could have done this years ago" Kylie wrapped her arms around him giving him a reassuring squeeze "years ago you were a child, that wasn't your responsibility but you did what you could and now we can do more. We will keep them all safe, happy and lead with love and fairness, we will give them what they have always deserved" that's when she made his worries dissappear, he has what ifs in his mind still but they are pushed back, he decides to start now and give his people what they deserve.
"Kylie.. kylie.." Lilley and Layla shout, running up to them, unable to contain their big smiles. "Hi girls, what's up?" kylie asks, wearing a smile just as big as theirs. The twins' excitement was contagious. "Can we try pleeaassee?" said the girls in unison. "Try what?" Freddy asks confused but smiling "that" Layla smiles pointing at Byron but Byron chuckles amused at the girls enthusiasm "only certain people can do what we do girls" he chuckled but it didn't deter the girls in the least "why?" Lilley questioned "because we have certain magic that can do this. Not everyone has that magic. Different magic is for different jobs," he explained, but they didn't seem fazed at all. "we can do it. We know we can.. can we try?" but he frowns "you have not reached the age for magic yet plus vampires don't have magical powers unfortunately" he says trying not to hurt their feelings but they both laugh "can we try freddy?" they turn to Freddy with smiles. "What do you have in mind?" he asked more to humour them than anything else. He knows they are strong and powerful, but building is a whole different thing. They whispered a few minutes with each other before turning back, "we have a few things we want to do, can we?" Freddy hates telling them no, especially if he will be holding them back, especially now they are free.
"Sure, you try what you want." At Freddys reply Byron and his team looked amused and confused but watch in silence, full of doubt. They have no idea that the girls are part witch.
"Can we do anything?" Lilley asks, her eyes filled with delight and determination.
"Of course," Queen Gill smiles, walking up to them "YAYYY" they both hug each other cheering "do you need me to do anything?" Queen Gill asked, but they both shook their heads no."we want to try first. If we need help, can Byron help?" Lilley asked looking at a confused Byron "of course" King Melvin replied walking upto Queen Gill with a smile for the girls "I don't understand" Byron frowned "you will" King Melvin says with a knowing look.
Both girls walk to where there is flat ground and plenty of space for what they have in mind. They link hands and smile at each other with a small nod of their head.
Both of their eyes go white with a shimmer of pink, and their hair softly blew in the breeze as the magic zapped around them.
The builders stood watching in utter confusion, this was impossible as firstly, the girls are vampires, and even if they weren't, magic doesn't materialise until the age of 16years old.
They stood like that for a while as no one said a word. They were all anticipating what would happen, but they also knew that if it didn't happen, they did great to try.
After more time of watching it started happening.
They watched on in amazement as something started rising out of the ground, whatever it was they were doing, it looked big, the whole space was being taken up, bricks upon bricks appeared, getting higher and higher with windows surrounding the building. It went a little higher but then started slowing down. Maybe the girls had done what they could and had tried something out of their range for the first time.
They both felt sad and wanted to give something to the kids of the clan. They could feel each other through their special bond and knew they could do this together. They could do this for everyone. They smiled at each other when they both knew what was wrong. They were trying to build like they had spent the day watching the builders build. They knew their magic was more powerful when it was done out of love. They poured their love into the magic freely. The winds whipped around them, colourful sparks erupted from them, and their eyes were now sparkling pink. Both girls stood strong, and the building started getting higher again.
They were stood for however long as the building was finished. The building was amazing, red-brick and tall. Big wide windows with a red door. 4 floors a magnificent beauty.
They were all impressed and amazed, but Byron and the builders were in shock, and none of them were sure if what they were witnessing was true.
"It's a place for kids," Layla explained as both girls turned to everyone with smiles.
Their foreheads were sweaty, and they felt tired, but it was worth it. They love seeing people happy.
Freddy and Kylie both hugged them tight. "That's amazing. They will love it," Freddy says, spinning Lilley around before doing the same to Layla.
"Wow, girls, that is impressive," King Melvin says with pride. He knew they were amazingly powerful, but that was mind-blowing. Queen Gill was now hugging the girls, telling them how proud she is of them. She felt the love around them, and it made her so happy to know they were such good girls. They have been through so much, and they still have nothing but light and goodness in them.
"I.. how.. how.." Byron couldn't speak. They just stood there looking at the beautiful building in front of them.
"My people, please step forward," King Melvin asked as he looked around at the confused witches and warlocks. They moved forward and gave all their attention to their king.
"Thank you to all of you for your help. What you have done here today has been amazing. We can see your confusion about the twins so I would like to introduce our family, our nieces Layla and Lilley" the crowd was stunned, when the news settled in everyone cheered.
This was great news to all. They could see how truly happy the Royal couple was.
"Byron, can you help?" came Lilleys' little voice as she walked up to him. "Of course," he said, still shocked that those 2 little beings could do this.
"Can you make sure it's ok?" Lilley asked. It's the first time they had built anything, but they wanted to make sure it was done ok and safe.
He nodded his head yes "I'll get to it," he said, walking towards the building. Inside was impressive, more than impressive he walked around inspecting everything and it looked great "what is it going to be used for" Fiona asked walking with him as everyone followed "a school and somewhere kids can come to play" Layla smiles behind them "sounds great" Kylie says holding Freddys hand.
"It just wants a few tweeks, but you both did an amazing job." Byron smiled, but the girls frowned. "What did we do wrong?" Lilley asked as they want to know for next time "nothing, you did nothing wrong at all, structurally it's perfect, safe and definitely spacious" but they both frowned more at his words "I was just thinking that if it's a school, it would need toilets and maybe put up a few walls to make the massive rooms into 2" they giggled "we didn't think of toilets" Layla giggled. They both yawned and were exhausted "lets take you to get some rest," Freddy said, picking both girls up in each arm. "May I?" King Melvin offered with his arms outstretched, Freddy nodded ok, and Lilley went to King Melvin.
Both girls were fast asleep as soon as they got outside, their heads rested on the mens shoulders as all 4 Royals chatted about the day.
