Shads Of Fae Rise of the Dragon

Prologue     Many years passed since the moongoddess gave the choice to Dante to become the first dragon shifter. Maliha and Ryker sat Dante down and told him the pros and cons to becoming the first dragon. Ultimately Dante chose to become this first dragon. The moongoddess took to creating the Dragon terrain to create an amazing dragon haven. Maliha and Ryker got married a few months after everything settled down and they got the kingdom back up and running. They were also swore in again as the king and queen. They wanted to make it an official swear in in the kingdom and without the war hanging in the air. The moongoddess gave the other children the choice if they wanted to also become dragons, per their parents approval if they had parents. They choice was given to the adults for their future children as well. All in all about 12 agreed to it thus starting the rise of the dragons. After Dante turned 12 he transformed for the first time. Most children will transform for the first time at the age of 14. Dante turned early cause he is the first, and also cause he is the most powerful of all the dragons. The moongoddess started working with Dante right away and at the age of 18 he became the Dova, which is the alpha of the dragons.     With the great evil passed the fae took to rebuilding their homes. No longer in hiding they took to their lands they once graced freely without worry of being captured. Many new and amazing places to explore and see. 51 years after Maliha and Ryker took the official throne and the kingdom was safe, they brought a set of twins into this world. A boy and a girl. The girl older by 6 mins Rain Sky Black, and the boy Storm Lee Black. Dante was looking forward to being a big brother, even though he is in human years 56 now. He looks no older then 20 and that is the age he stopped aging. The goddess sent Dante to the marines for a 15 year tour after the twins turned 2 but had him busy training before that. Dante being the first of his kind, he is also the most powerful. With every element to his disposal, it took many years to master them all. Him going into the human military was his final training.     He heard about his siblings growing up but only saw them on occasion when he was allowed to visit. The day he was do home was also the day of his siblings 18th birthday.      Dante never found his mate,  Selene which is the goddesses name changed the age of mates finding each other to 18. He was so excited on his 18th birthday but was heartbroken cause he didn't find his mate. Selene told him to keep his head high cause his mate has not been chosen yet, she has a special one picked out for him. She would not toll him when or who and finally he lost hope and moved on to other women trying to fill the void. Eventually he feels a weird slight connection to one woman he meets on base and they become a thing. Not really a couple but something similar. Selene spends many years with Dante that she feels like he is her son, he has a special place in her heart for him, as Dante does her. Dante knows that Maliha and Ryker are his adopted parents, but he also sees Selene as an adopted mother and Maliha and Ryker are ok with it.     Rain takes after her mother in the strong female presence, and also goes on her quest like Maliha did to get to know her people. She sees many wonders in her journey and comes home with many stories. She comes back the day of her 18th birthday as well. Storm is all alpha, rough housing and chasing the girls around. He doesn't take after his father but who knows how Ryker would have been if Maliha didn't show up at such a young age. Of course Storm ia all talk cause deep down he is waiting for his mate. He is a softy at heart. He goes with Rain but comes home early cause he said he has things back home he has to attend to.     Zilly and Dante grew up together and are around the same age. Zilly was the little girl outside the cabin Maliha burned down in her dragon form. Her parents Aliha and Xander adopted her. She is a very powerful witch now and is thriving. She met her mate when she was 21, of course everyone though that her and Dante would have been mates. They are however very good friends and forever will be. Without giving to much away enjoy the book
