Neil notice Nancy differently

Neil POV

I had reached school early today I was bored but I saw Nancy so I was relieved we were wandering around and chatting. We are friends from the time I don't even remember, I guess we are the lucky people we have a big group from kindergarten and all of us have been together always. Nancy is reserved type I mean she is frank and talk with everyone but unlike others girls of our group who are so loud and whiny but I adore them all. We are family. Nancy talks less and listen more and when she talks alot it means it is debate time. Today also we had a small talk that was turning into debate and I am poor on that so I surrender there and then.

Later in evening

Neil POV

After School and tution, I went to play basketball in City sports club. All our friends come there to play as physical sports is aslo important in our life. I saw Nancy and Sweety are whispering something. These girls always whispering, giggling. I moved towards them to disturb. I heard they mention David name. What is it? I am curious now. So I move slowly between them and said a little loudly "Davidddd"

"Aaaaaaa" Sweety screech so loudly damaging my ear drum.

"What the hell Sweety, who scream like that" I asked her still covering my poor ears.

"What the hell Neil, you came up suddenly and shouted almost causing me a heart attack", Sweety again shouted. Oh my poor ear.

" Please give mercy to my ears, I heard you two whispering about David and so much immersed in it you didn't notice me, so I thought to startled you but I didn't knew it will be the opposite", I said sighing.

Both girls became pale. They just look so white. I was more curious now.

"Relax girls, what happen? ", I asked them calmly.

" N nnn nothing ", said Nancy stammering.

Sweety start crying slowly I am worried now just before I came they were giggling.

" What the hell, why are you acting weird I am going and ask David himself ", I said losing my mind.

" No no no Stop! I am, I am telling you ", Sweety pleaded.

" What? Are you serious? " Nancy asked shocked to Sweety.

"Well we can trust him Nanz", Sweety said smiling. Wasn't she crying few minutes before???

" Yes, why not, here I was protecting your sacret from so many days, oh actually from months and you so easily change the team ", Nancy said sarcastically keeping her hand on her hips.

What's wrong with her now, she was fine in morning but she has got temper, her black eyes, her fair skin, her long hair which she is tied in a pony she always does this, her pink lips, her slim body, oh god what's wrong with me, why I am scanning her. I haven't notice her in this way. I am getting more perverted thoughts about her but I have to stop it. I closed my eyes tight and open.

" I love him", I heard Sweety admitting slowly.

"Huh", I am confused.

" See, I told you he doesn't understand all this, you gave such a long speech, all we get is huh", Nancy said furiously, wow she has temper but why is she be having in this way towards me.

"Wait Nancy, clear me first before judging me", I said straight looking into her eyes, I saw a flicker of emotions in her eyes.

" Neil ", Sweety called me. I looked towards her.

" You really didn't heard what I said?", She asked calmly.

I shrugged to her question staring towards Nancy who was looking here and there not ready to face me.

"Well, you didn't hear anything but I know you know that we are hiding something so I will say it again but I hope I can trust you", She said looking little scared again confusing me.

"Oh sweety sweet, you can trust me", I said smiling to ease her as she look so worried.

" Actually I am, I am in love in David, I feel this is mutual, David has never mentioned anything to me but I know he has feelings for me, I am waiting for his proposal", Sweety said awkwardly smiling.

"Really!! oh Sweety sweet, you scared me for nothing, its ok, your secret is save with me" I was shocked at first but by seeing her so worried I told her it's not big deal. It's teenage, every girl or guy are having crush, infatuation on someone.

Sweety became so happy she came and hugged me, "Oh Neil, I always knew you are a darling" she said smiling. I hugged her back and saw Nancy looking at us in admiration. I left sweety.

"See I told you, we can trust him", Sweety said proudly to Nancy.

" Fine, now share your stupid dreams to him as he is a darling ", Nancy said sarcastically. Wasn't she happy a minute ago when I was hugging sweety. She has bi polar, I concluded in my mind, though a pretty one.

" What's your problem Nanz, why you are acting weird today, he is so nice to us and you are rude to him, what's in your heart?? ", Sweety asked Nancy

" Relax girls, don't fight because of me, just forget it, think I never came here, never heard anything ", I ran off from there.

I move towards basketball court I saw David already there.

" Hey evening dude, What's up? ", I asked him

" You are late", He said while throwing a ball towards goal post.

"Yea, just caught in crazy things", I said remembering earlier incident and antics of both girl's I started smiling.

David didn't said anything he just looked lost in thoughts.

" I am going" he said and left abruptly. What happened to him now. His mood is off. I doubt he likes Sweety, he never talks about her or I never saw him care for Sweety like how she mentioned. Well I can't judge anyone but hope it dont break Sweety hearts, she is sincere in his love. I shrugged all these the thought and resumed playing.

After coming from club, I showered and was doing some studies suddenly Mom called me.

I went to her room and knock.

" Come in", Mom said

" Mom, Why did you call me", I asked her, she was selecting dresses.

"Oh, your dad's client has invited for dinner, so get ready, we will be leaving in half an hour", Mom said smiling.

" Sure ", I said her and went to my room to get ready.

Dad's client house was not far just 10 minutes drive and when I saw the house I couldn't believe its Nancy's home. I was feeling happy excited I don't know why. I have to her home like so many times even Mom know Nancy and her place why didn't she said we are going her house.

" Oh what a co- incidence, Hubby this a Neil friends Nancy's house " Mom said answering to my question.

"Is it, That's great, it won't be boring dinner for Neil", Dad said smiling.

As we entered Nancy's dad welcomed us, we greet each other even her dad was surprised by looking at me as he know me and my mom very well. Dad and Nancy's dad start talking about work while Mom went to see Nancy's Mom. I didn't see Nancy around so was quite sitting there.

Few minutes later Nancy arrived with a tray of refreshment for us. She was wearing a floral dress, I can see some changes in her face might be make up and her hair is open. She keep her hair open when she is at home I have seen, but she is looking beautiful today. I don't know I feel like seeing her whole day. I got interrupted by dad remark.

"Mr Ray, I must say, your daughter is very smart and helpful", my dad said to Nancy's dad.

" Yes, she is very interested in taking care of every one, cooking, studies, sports, she is smart in every field ", Her dad said proudly. I don't know why I felt proud of her.

" Dad, I am like normal, don't praise me so much", Nancy said complaining to her father.

The fathers laughed a little.

My father called and blessed her with a gift.

Nancy politely took it and thanked him.

"Nancy take Neil with you, he must be feeling boring here listening our business talk", Her dad said. I was happy not because I was feeling boring of their discussion but spending time with Nancy.

" Come" Nancy called me I followed her and she took me to her room.

I have been to her room so many times but this is the first time we are alone.

I was sitting with her in her bed, playing game in my phone.

"Neil aren't you surprised by today's incident", she suddenly asked me.

" yes I was surprised when I found out I am in your house for dinner", I said smiling.

"Not that you silly", she slap my back

" Then ", I asked still playing game.

" Sweety love David incident ", Nancy said slowly looking at me with unknown emotion.

" Oh that, I was shocked but not much", I told her assuring, she must be worried as I know her bestie secret and then I saw how she didn't trust me with that.

"Isn't it too early for us to be in love, I mean we are just in schools", she asked me but she didn't look curious it was like she wanted to confirm something

I hold her hand she was startle but didn't remove her hand and I said, " There is no time to be in love, early or late, one feel different or special for someone time has nothing to do with it, when we are in love, we are in love, "

Our Mom called us for dinner, we went to have dinner and ride back to our house.

I couldn't sleep whole night I was just replaying today's moments that happen ed in her room. what was it? I notice her differently today at club it was physical attraction but what happen in her room her questions, my answers ?? It is something else. What is it??
