The atmosphere in the house began to change from a warm, calm and loving space to a competitive, spitful and hurtful place, as Mara began planning to betray her freind Lila and take Daniel so she could be her husband, she began sneaking around and observing ways to get closer to him, at work she would bring him lunch as she wanted to spend time with him, at home she would come up with ways and excuses to be around him, Daniel noticed this behavior. He was starting to warm up to her ,as he was enjoying the extra attention, he didn't want to betray his wife, but he loved getting the extra attention. Lila began to lose trust and hope in their friendship and began to see how her trusted friend wanted her life, she wanted her out of her house, but was concerned about the unborn baby. Mara knew that Lila was kind and naive and would use this opportunity to betray her. Dinner was no longer a place of laughter but of loud silence and heavy tension. Mara no longer wanted to go to her doctor's appointment with Lila and would make sure she had Daniel take her, she became mean and cold towards Lila and kind and more gentle with Daniel. Daniel, on the other hand, became more sneaky as well as he would be faithful when his wife was around but entertain Mara when she was not. For this reason, Mara saw an opportunity she could use to sneak herself into Daniel's arms. With envious and evil thoughts constantly running through her mind, she would no doubt make a way to get what she wants. The friendship that had lead her to a warm comfortable space, a place of refugee and love not only for her, but her baby too, had become a resented memory, the person she once saw as a best freind who opened her doors to her, to shelter her, comfort her, support her, and give her a chance ,had become an enemy in her sight , a hindrance to a life she now wanted, a life that never truly existed and was not meant to be hers, she wated more than what was offerd to her, and was willing to go the forbidden route to win this war even if it cost her their friendship . Betrayal, was inevitable as ahe was no longer the person Lila knew and loved but her true colours where starting to show, a dark side she had alwsya kept in check, a side that her once upon a time best friend never knew she had . Was this the reason why Mark left her? Was she always pretending to be a good person so she could get her way, or was this just a temptation? , Mara had taken a very different toll from the person Lila and Daniel knew, she was no longer the sweet, happy friend they knew but a cold, dark character covered her face, how far would she go to get what she wanted, what kind of person would she become when she finally got what she wanted, it was not too long till everyone would find out. In a conversation between Daniel and his colleague while preparing for an important meeting, Daniel noticed that he had forgotten a file at home that he needed for the upcoming meeting. Mara, who was constantly looking for opportunities, was eagerly waiting for this. She was eas dropping on Daniel's work conversations to find out what he gets up to without being too obvious. She suddenly had a medical emergency and rushed home, while Daniel was preparing to go back home to get the file. Knowing that Daniel would be arriving shortly after her, she took a quick shower to prepare to seduce him when he came home. Daniel rushes into the house and goes straight to his study, only to come across the half-naked Mara. Oh you're home i didn't realize someone else was in the house im sorry, she said looking straight in his eyes to see if he would be interested in what he saw, Daniel froze for a sec, and forgot what he came home for, "no im sorry", he replied i should have noticed someone was home, but why are you home at this time?. I had a medical emergency ,she replied i felt pain and asked to come home. Don't you need a doctor?, Daniel concerned asked, No I feel so much better although I could use an extra hand for my back and feet, its hard to reach with this big belly, Daniel sensing what was happening couldn't say no, a part of him wanted to leave but he also wanted to stay, he gave in and fell to the trap and the betrayal was sealed
