Three months after Neil collapsed on the kitchen floor with a minor stroke, Janet noticed changes. Where in the beginning he laughed often and was extremely attentive, now he had become quiet; almost secretive, and over the last three weeks had worked a lot of overtime. Janet worried. The last thing she needed was for him to have another stroke, and who knew how bad that would be. He wasn"t driving yet; instead, he rode into work with one of the guys.
