Back at the bunker, the excited crew resolve to making more antidote. They devise a plan on how to feed the mutated animals by injecting it inside foods and snacks. But Richard did not join them in this adventure, he has somewhere to go to. And when it was time for him to leave, Elsa took the Scientists' emblem that was of Dr. Hatchet, and gave it to him. He was a Scientist now and when all this is finally over, he could apply as an intern in any Science Laboratory. He was so very excited that when he asked Elsa if he could keep the white lab coat, she couldn't say no and nodded with a smile.
Richard ran as fast as the beat of his heart, he couldn't wait to meet Amanda and tell her that he has finally become a scientist. When he arrived at the site of the portal, his radiance vanished.
