The maid they humiliated
Chapter 1: The New Maid
The grand mansion of the Williams family stood proudly on a hill overlooking the city. Its white walls sparkled in the morning sun, and expensive cars filled the driveway.
One Monday morning, a young woman stood at the gate holding a small bag. Her name was Amara Johnson. She wore simple clothes and looked like an ordinary maid looking for work.
The head housekeeper looked her up and down.
“You’re the new maid?” she asked.
“Yes, ma’am,” Amara replied politely.
The woman frowned. “You don’t look very strong.”
“I can do the job.”
The housekeeper sighed. “Fine. Follow me.”
As Amara entered the mansion, she noticed the luxury everywhere. Crystal chandeliers hung from the ceiling. Marble floors reflected the light.
But she was not impressed.
She had seen all this before.
Years ago, this mansion belonged to her father.
Now she had returned for one reason.
Revenge.
⸻
At breakfast, members of the Williams family sat around a large dining table.
Mr. Williams, the wealthy businessman, read the newspaper.
His wife, Victoria Williams, wore expensive jewelry.
Their son, Ethan, scrolled through his phone.
Their daughter, Sophia, applied makeup while eating.
Amara entered carrying a tray of coffee.
“Be careful,” the housekeeper whispered.
Amara nodded.
As she approached the table, Sophia suddenly pushed her chair back.
Amara lost balance.
Coffee splashed onto the table.
Silence filled the room.
Then Sophia laughed.
“Seriously? That’s the maid you hired?”
Victoria looked disgusted.
“You ruined my tablecloth.”
“I’m sorry, ma’am.”
Mr. Williams shook his head.
“Useless.”
The servants standing nearby lowered their heads.
Amara quietly cleaned the mess.
Inside, however, she smiled.
The Williams family had no idea who she really was.
And soon, their world would change forever.
⸻
That night, Amara sat alone in her small room.
She opened an old photograph.
A smiling man stood beside a young girl.
Her father.
Tears filled her eyes.
“Don’t worry, Dad,” she whispered.
“I’m going to find out what they did to you.”
Suddenly, her phone buzzed.
A message appeared.
The evidence is ready.
———-
Amara stared at the screen.
The next morning, Amara woke before sunrise.
She quietly cleaned rooms and hallways while the family slept.
When she entered Mr. Williams’ office, she noticed something interesting.
A locked cabinet.
Her heart raced.
Years ago, her father had kept important company records in a similar cabinet.
Could the evidence be inside?
Before she could investigate, footsteps approached.
Amara quickly grabbed a duster.
The office door opened.
Ethan walked in.
He looked surprised.
“What are you doing here?”
“Cleaning, sir.”
He nodded slowly.
Unlike the others, Ethan never insulted her.
“You should be careful around my mother,” he said.
“Why?”
“Because she enjoys making people miserable.”
Amara almost laughed.
If only he knew the truth.
⸻
Later that day, Amara met a mysterious man in a café.
His name was Daniel.
He had been her father’s lawyer.
Daniel placed a file on the table.
“Everything is inside.”
Amara opened it.
Her hands trembled.
There were documents showing that years ago, Mr. Williams had secretly taken control of her father’s company through fraud.
The stress had destroyed her father.
Months later, he died.
Amara closed the file.
Anger burned inside her.
“They stole everything.”
Daniel nodded.
“Yes.”
“And now?”
“You expose them.”
Amara looked through the café window.
The city lights glowed in the distance.
For years she had waited.
For years she had planned.
Now she was finally ready.
The Williams family believed she was just a maid.
Soon they would discover the truth.
And when they did, nothing would ever be the same again.
