It was difficult for Cesca to understand her status; her meaning; her precious life. 17 years and 11 months ago she was brought into this world by her Mother, Annie, and within minutes of life, Cesca saw first hand the brutal ways of the world when her Mother took her last breaths with a nestled new-born on her chest. Being the bastard daughter of Alpha Glenn of the Moorland Pack, she was cast aside. Her Father being an Alpha with his chosen mate, Luna Melanie, had tried for years to breed for a male heir for the Pack. It was imperative to the succession and survival of the bloodline and name of Moorland. However, Luna Melanie had failed in her duty according to The Wolf Council, when she was announced infertile. Henceforth, Annie, a lowly young Omega of a neighbouring pack, was introduced to Alpha Glenn. She was sold to pay off pack debts to become Alpha Glenn’s personal breeder. Her goal was to breed with the Alpha until a Son was born to carry on the Moorland Pack dynasty. Unfortunately, Annie only made it through one pregnancy because of the abuse she received at Moorland. When it was time to deliver her sweet baby into the world her body and soul was broken. Annie’s suffering ended and Cesca’s began. Her Father, Alpha Glenn, was enraged on the evening of her birth. He had written off millions in debts to Annie’s pack and had received nothing in return but a useless daughter who could never be Alpha, because of her gender. Therefore he turned his back and for 17 years and 11 months he had left Cesca to rot in Boarding Schools up and down the Country in England; keeping her out of sight and out of mind. Never once did he make contact with her and henceforth cut all family ties with his one and only child. 17 years and 11 months on from her birth; Cesca was not thriving. It was her 18th birthday in one month and that would be when she would be truly free from Guildheart Finishing School; from the torment received from her History Teacher, Mr Redd; and from the life-long bullies that ridiculed her status and absent family. Her life would be in her own hands; she had a chance to run from the stigmas and past.. to be free.
