In a space of three minutes, I forgot about my problems and listened to Maliya as she talked in an excited tone.
"So this morning, I was really bored and the kids were too busy to even pay me heed. One of the maids took them on a tour around the Palace to spend most of their day painting and messing things up. You'll see it when you get to the studio room."
I leaned my elbow against the counter, nodding as her eyes lit up with excitement.
