"Mum!" Julia called out as they rushed out of the bushes behind them. She turned to them with a bright smile on her face. Harvey was right behind them, pulling Jason who kept talking in loud tones, pointing behind the car at a chameleon that lay hidden in the dark.
I turned to see Julia running towards me. She was happy. I could tell from the way she ran towards me. She threw her arms around my legs, clinging tight onto me and laughing loudly. "Jason! He tried to catch me while we were doing hide and seek."
"Just you and him?"
Her face fell but she shook her head and her eyes darted over to where Harvey stood with Jason. He was pointing something out to him and they both laughed when he said something.
