Our drive back to the Palace was silent. The car felt like a graveyard because neither of the kids or Maliya spoke. Julia must have mouthed off to Jason because he looked like he was mad at me.
Of course, I'd gone overboard again. I'd over reacted. I had no idea why Aries, my werewolf, was doing this. Why he got so aggravated each time she made a mention of Leo and how he took care of her and the kids. It pissed me the f**k out and I wished there was a way I could curb my emotions.
My relationship with Julia had gone downhill once again and all I could hope for was Maliya's explanation to the little girl that it was just a minor issue which we had already resolved. I just hoped she was going to buy into it.
