Everyone left the hospital and Colin went back with Elizabeth to her home with her parents. He asked if it was ok that he spend the night, it wasn't as if he never had before, but their relationship was different now. He didn't want her parents to mistrust him or leaving them alone together. His parents assured him it was fine especially after being what they had been to they understood wanting to not leave his mate. He promised they would at least wait until after the marking ceremony to mate. He wanted it to be special for her anyways. He planned on decorating the fort they would hide out in and placing a ton of pillows and blankets inside for them to spend the night in.
"Colin," Lizzy whispers as they lay in bed together, snuggled close. "I'm scared to go to sleep," she admits.
