Ryker’s POV
Mara's unruly behavior towards Ophelia was getting too much, at first, I wanted to ignore because Mara was a very strict and straightforward person but as time went by, I realized she was purposely being uncouth and unruly towards Ophelia.
I noticed this act when I presented the silver moon seal to Ophelia. She had muttered curse words and walked out of the tent which caused anger to course through me. It made no sense that she was being this way towards someone who has never done her wrong. I decided it was time to let her know such wouldn’t be tolerated anymore. Without wasting any time, I followed her, to speak with her.
“Do you like her?” She repeated her words and I stared at her, startled at her sudden question.
