I Couldn't believe Ryker was an Alpha! Goodness! That was a lot of information to take in. I knew he had a leadership spirit in him but I never knew he had royalty blood.
He lost such dignity by a malicious act and betrayal by his Brother and Ex-girlfriend.
“Pathetic,” I mumbled as I paced around the garden. My eyes went to a window and sighed. That was Ryker's study; Kelvin had gone there to speak with him.
What did he want to tell him that he couldn't say in my presence? Was it in any way concerning me? Mara had spoken to someone about me a while ago and I didn't want to be a topic for discussion again.
From the way she reacted, I knew she didn't want Ryker to know about it. Could it be someone from Darkwoods pack? Could it be his Ex-girlfriend?
