You and me against everyone

"Yukiiiiii! I'm so glad I finally found you." He starts excitingly running to her and tries to hug her. She's backing away with a confused and frightened face. "Who are you?... and what's this name "Yuki"?". He's paralyzed. Slowly the excitement fades away and great horror replaces it. The smile disappears from his face. "What?..." he's on the verge of tears "you... you don't remember me? It's me, Hero!" He's trying to explain to her "we're friends, very good childhood friends. We've always played together in the woods and the sea... you really can't remember?" "No, I can't. Sorry." She's looking at him with a questioning look, and she's confused because although she didn't remember him she felt close to him in some way. She wanted to know more, about him, and what was their connection. But she didn't have the courage to ask him. Hero thinks to himself - I can't believe that after all we've been through together she doesn't remember me... I wander if she also can't remember the others. Now that I think about it she was in the forest when I found her. And also she's wearing short clothes in the middle of winter... "Hey, how did you get here?" He is concerned now. "I don't know" the last thing she remembers is that she was in her room and she heard an explosion and saw fire coming towards her. The floor shatters under her feet and then she lost consciousness. When she woke up slowly she noticed something different about herself... she was no longer a regular girl. She had ears and a tale of a white fox and even her hair was no longer brown it was snowy white. Her normal human ears were replaced with the new ones and there was something else, even the color of her eyes changed, from honey brown with a tint of green, to a beautiful ocean blue. But she didn't know that yet because she didn't look in the mirror. She started to sneeze cause she began to feel cold. "Let's go to my place for now, so you won't catch a cold. We- ehhh I mean I ! I live in the village right this way , it's really close." He could see she was debating whether or not to go but she got up anyway and followed him. He smiled in his heart because even with all the weird confusion , no matter in what state she's in, he still got he's old friend back.
