Ari jumped when her phone buzzed loudly on the table between them. Her heart lurched when she saw the caller ID. Dad. Bram’s brows pulled together. “Go on. Answer it.” She nodded, swiped to accept, and lifted it to her ear. “Dad?” Except it wasn’t Thomas. It was chaos. Cora: “Ari, WHAT DID YOUR DAD JUST SAY..” El: “This can’t be real, right?
