Waking up by the sound of the alarm, I checked my phone for any new messages. I went to the bathroom and took shower. Wearing jeans and a top I applied tint on my lips and cheeks when suddenly my phone started ringing. “Good morning Evelyn. All ready for your first day at office?” “Hi bestie! Yeah I guess I am ready. I need to look decent on my first day. Eva I need you to pick me up after my office. We’ll have coffee together and besides that I want to tell you every single detail of my day” “Of course Eve. I will bring Greyson with me too. We’ll spend quality time together” “Perfect. Okay so gotta go bye take care” Me Eva and Greyson are childhood friends. And we love each other’s company I hung up the call took my phone and went to kitchen to eat something I cooked an egg and a toast with peanut butter and jelly. Locked the door took a bus and went to office. It was a good day at office. I was leaving the office when I saw Eva and Grey waiting for me outside my office gate. Excitedly waved towards them and we went to a nearby cafe. “Guys guys there’s a concert happening after an hour nearby should we go?” Eva interrupted After a lot of convincing we decided to go It was pretty late when we all decided to go home “Should I drop you guys too?” Greyson asked us and we both agreed because it wasn’t safe to go to our apartments alone this late. “Guys go sit in the car I have to use the bathroom I’ll be right back” Eva and Grey went and waited for me. After using the bathroom I forgot the directions to the car And it was way too dark. When suddenly I heard a loud noise. Scared to death when I realised it was a freaking GUNSHOT. I tried peeking in that dark huge area which is something I shouldn’t have done There was a guy on the ground with a bullet shot in his leg crying and begging for his life surrounded by some muscular men wearing black having guns. A guy whose face was not visible to me because of the dark said something and one muscular man without thinking twice or without hesitating fired all remaining bullets on the guy That is when I realised a scream has escaped my mouth “s**t” I cursed. “Hey you What are you doing here ?” One man said pointing at me Fuck f**k f**k I am dead now I was about to run just when I realised a pair of strong arms were holding me tight “No no no leave me alone. Stop touching me you piece of s**t” When the man dragged me to their boss apparently who gave orders to kill the guy “What is your name” I heard a deep scary voice. “Evelyn” “Look at me in my eyes” I looked up in his dark brown eyes which had blood boiling in them. I have to admit he was quiet handsome but I was disgusted to see his face that he just killed a guy. What does he think he is. Bloody jerk. “Go home and remember you saw nothing or else…” his voice and these words scared the s**t out of me Traumatised for what I saw , I started walking back and went to the car “Ahh there you are” “We were waiting for you for so long where were you” Couldn’t even say a single word about what I just saw “Drop me home I have work to finish” “Boss why did you let her go? What if she tells someone what happened today?” One of his bodyguards said And his lips formed a smirk knowing what was going to happen next. I went to my room my legs still shaking and my mind playing what I just saw again and again. I was too tired mentally and physically that I just fell asleep sitting on the bed. His pov Closing my eyes I only saw her. Couldn’t take her image out of my sight. “Boss here is all the information about the girl. Her name is Evelyn. Her parents were killed by someone when she was quiet young and this is all her personal information” One of my bodyguard said handing me a file and a usb drive “ And I did exactly what you said. I installed cameras in her apartment” “Good job Stefan” Beep beep Ugh! Not again “Hello Mia. What do you want. Why did you call me” “Hi Xavier the king of kings” she said to which I rolled my eyes in annoyance “It’s not necessary that I call you only for work or if I want something. We are friends right” “Listen Mia. I have some important work to do I’ll talk to you later Bye” She is so annoying I swear to god. Turning on the laptop I opened the cameras installed in her apartment. She looks so beautiful while sleeping ahh I want this girl so bad. I want to touch her, feel her, kiss her and mark every part of her body so that everyone and more importantly she knows that SHE’S MINE. Evelyn pov Woke up by the alarm with an extreme headache. Remembered what happened last night. Beep beep “Good morning baby girl” Who the f**k is this now. Might be a wrong number. Whatever I should get ready or else I’ll be late to work. It was an ordinary boring day at work. Came home ,changed into my pjs, took some salad to eat and turned on the tv to watch Netflix Xavier pov My baby girl you look so pretty even in your pjs. You are just perfect. Why is this guy here again. I just hate him getting close to my Eve. He has to pay for it and my baby girl deserves a punishment. Evelyn pov Doorbell rings “Oh hi grey. Good to see you. Come inside let’s watch Netflix” I said cheerfully giving him a hug and a kiss on the cheek. “No I won’t be able to come inside I have to reach somewhere. I just came to give you your purse.
