13 The office of Baird and Cohen was quiet when Abby and Shane arrived. The receptionist informed them Mr. Baird was running late; he was still in court. Disheartened, they settled on the stiff leather chairs to wait. For the umpteenth time, Abby glanced at her watch. This waiting was driving her crazy.
