Characters Background
Elara
Personality: Elara is reserved and emotionally distant, having grown up in an orphanage. She has learned to trust no one and relies solely on herself. She is independent, intelligent, and somewhat stubborn, but she often hides her vulnerability behind a tough exterior. She has a dry sense of humor, though she rarely allows herself to smile or laugh, not seeing the point in joy when life has been hard.
Background: Orphaned at a young age, Elara never knew her parents and grew up in foster care. Her life was a series of moving from one place to another, often facing neglect and mistreatment. As a result, she became self-reliant and emotionally closed off. Her bitterness toward the world, especially wealthy or privileged people, stems from her feelings of abandonment and injustice. She decided to leave her past behind when she became an adult and now prefers to keep her distance from others, not allowing anyone to get too close.
Jaxon
Personality: Jaxon is a carefree, easygoing man who comes from a privileged background. He is used to getting what he wants and is often perceived as charming but slightly arrogant. His wealth has made him somewhat detached from the struggles of others, though he is not intentionally cruel. He enjoys adventure, and while he’s not overly ambitious, he likes the thrill of the unknown. He can be self-centered at times but is capable of growth, especially when faced with challenging situations. His humor and laid-back nature often hide deeper insecurities.
Background: Jaxon grew up in a wealthy family, always surrounded by comfort and luxury. His parents were distant, always focused on their business, and never paid much attention to his emotional needs. This led Jaxon to develop a "live for the moment" attitude. He’s been to numerous places and had many relationships, but none of them ever lasted long. He’s been on many adventures, but when he meets Elara, something about her challenges him in ways he didn’t expect. He struggles with finding purpose, as he feels like his life has been too easy, lacking any true depth or meaning.
