Kelvin was still seated patiently and waiting for me when I returned to the office. But one long look at him after I settled back down on my chair told me he was anything else but patient.
"Wipe that look off your face. It makes you more ugly." I said while eyeing his facial reaction.
"Can we get over this so I can leave?"
"And where do you want to run off to? You played the detective so you must finish what you started." I said with a shrug and he scowled at me.
I took out the journal and pen I was using before I left for dinner and signalled for him to keep talking.
I looked up at him when he still hadn't said a word. "I'm waiting!"
"And I'm hungry!" He fired. "You went to have dinner and forced me to remain here waiting for you."
