Chapter 14

Jasmine's POV

I'm awoken by a knock on the door. Grumbling to myself, I climb out of bed and over to the door. I throw the door open to be greeted by a friendly looking, grey haired woman.

"Good morning Miss Jasmine. I am Lydia, the head omega. Alpha has asked to come and let you know that breakfast will be served in the dining room in 45 minutes. Are you able to make your own way down or would you like me to send someone to fetch you?"

"Thank you Lydia, can you please send someone to fetch us. I haven't had a tour of the house yet and this place is so huge I'm likely to end up in Narnia trying to navigate myself round" That earns me a chuckle from Lydia and she leaves me to wake up Jade after comfirming someone will be along to connect us.

I'm sure Sean would happily escort us down but he is on the floor below in one of the Beta rooms and I don't fancy knocking on numerous doors before finding the right one.

I have been placed on the Alpha's floor. Granny said this is my room from now on and I can decorate it anyway I please. I asked her why I am on the Alpha's private floor when I'm not a ranked member, hell I'm not even a member yet. She said that considering the situation, this is the safest place for me. My room is gigantic, it's going to take me forever and a day to decorate the whole place. My mahoosive four poster bed sits on the wall opposite the door with matching bedside cabinets on either side. To the right of my bed, there is patio doors that laid out onto my own private balcony. To the left of my bed is a diamond shaped window. At the foot of my bed there is a chaise lounger. On the wall opposite my bed there is a big assed 65inch tv on the wall with a couch and 2 chairs facing it with a coffe table in the middle. On the left wall there is double doors that lead in to a walk-in wardrobe, hidden in the wardrobe is my own personal safe room in the event of an attack and I'm unable to get down to the safety tunnels. Granny said she would show me how to use that later on today. On the right wall is the door to the bathroom and Oh My Goddess, is it amazing! There is a double sink with a light up mirror above. The sink is a rose gold coloured marble and it matches the jacuzzi bath tub that is big enough to fit at least 4 people inside. The shower is in a seperate corner of the room and is housed by a glass partition. The shower has different nozzles on all of three walls so you can choose how much water you want spraying at you. The only thing actually missing from my room is a bookcase but I guess can get one put in here when I decorate.

I decide it is time to wake Jade up, so I walk over to her side, lean down to her ear and yell as loud as I can 'nee naw nee naw'. She jumps up and glares at me. I put one hand up in surrender and one hand on my stomache before she tries to get her revenge.

"No fair" She whines "You can only hide behind that pup for so long Jones then your ass is mine!"

I stick my tongue out at her in response before we both start laughing.

"Why the wake up call? I was enjoying my dream"

"Almost breakfast time, an omega will be here soon to collect us so get your ass dressed" And with that shes pulling clothes out of her bag to find something cute to wear in case her mate is in this pack. She finally finds something she deems cute enough and turns to look at me "Why are you not getting dressed Jasmine?"

"You know I dont like getting dressed before I've my breakfast and at least one cup of coffee" Seriously, we have been roommates for almost 3 years now, how does she not know this about me?

"Yes but this is your first day meeting members of your new pack, you need to make a good first impression and you cant do that in your unicorn onesie!"

"Fine, but know I am not happy about this and I will find an even more interesting way to wake you up tomorrow morning" and with that I go through my boxes of belongings and settle on a tartan, skater style dress and black pumps.

Just as we are both finishing off putting our shows on, there is a knock on the door. Guess this is the omega that Lydia has arranged to collect us. I open the door and come face to face with Alpha Daniel.

"Good morning Alpha, is everything ok?" I wasnt expecting to see him before we got to the dinind room.

"Nothing at all and please call me Daniel. Lydia mentioned that she needed to free one of the omegas up to escort you beautiful ladies to breakfast" He smiles at me.

I'm about to say he didnt have to do that but Jade comes bouncing over "Alpha Daniel, that is very kind of you" Jade beams at him.

"It is no trouble at all Jade and please call me Daniel, now are you ladies ready to eat?" And he holds out both arms to us an we each link our arm through his as we head to the dining hall.

I dont know what I was expecting from the dining room but when we walked in my breath seemed to have left me. There must have been at least 150 people sat eating and almost as many empty seats. As they all sensed the presence of their Alpha entering the room, they all stopped talking and looked at us.

"Good morning everyone, I will be making an announcement in a few moments so please get back to your breakfast until the rest of our guests arrive" Daniel addresses the room. Sure enough, they all got back to their food but as we walked towards to Ranked members table, I could hear the whispers.

"Who are the girls?"

"Has the Alpha decided to take a chosen mate?"

"The one on the left is human"

"She's also pregnant another one states"

I'm starting to feel very nervous and self conscious. Daniel must have noticed this because he leans down and whispers in to my hear "Dont worry princess, they are just curious. They havent seen a woman on my arms since my Luna and they have certainly never seen me with 2 beautiful women on my arm at the same time" That last part makes me blush.

"Also, I'm loving the dress. Wear tartan often or is that just to show you appreciate our Scottish culture?"

I try answering but my cheeks are starting to resemble that of a ginger running a marathon in the desert and I'm stuttering.

"At least 50% of her wardrobe is Tartan Daniel, she has tartan dresses and skirts in at least 6 different colours" Jade comes to my rescue.

We arrive at head table and Alpha Daniel takes his seat and instructs me and Jade to take the seats at either side of him. Beta Ferguson, his mate Laura, Gamma Michael and his mate Lexi are alreast seated at the table along with Granny and a man I assume is her mate from the way they are looking at each other.

"Good morning girls" Granny greets us. I did ask Granny what her name was last night when she was showing me around my new room but shushed me and insisted I call her granny.

"Good morning Granny" me and Jade reply at the same time "Who is this this handsome gentleman that is staring at you?" My goddess Jade can be so blunt at times.

"Ah girls meet my mate, Andrew or Drew for short and the former Alpha. Drew this is Jasmine and Jade who I told you about last night. Jasmine is the one who will be taking over my Luna duties"

"Ah ladies, I heard so much about you all last night and a young lady called Naomi" he smiles at us both then looks at me "Thank you Jasmine for rescuing my mate from Luna duties and giving me more time with her"

"You're very welcome Sir, but I'm afraid I may need to keep Granny from you for a few weeks while she helps me settle in to my new role here in the pack."

"No worries sweetness. If there is anything you need help with, please let me know and I will be happy to offer my assisstance."

I am about to thank him when the rest of our party enters the dining room and Alpha Daniel stands to wave them over to us. Once everyone is seated and has made their introductions, Alpha Daniel addresses the room.

"Snow Pack members, I have an announcement to make" He looks around the room waiting for each member to stop what they are doing and give him their undivided attention. Once the room is silent he continues "As you may have noticed, my Aunt Jodie and her family have returned home for a short visit and has brought some guests with her" he pauses for a few seconds continuing "The guests she has brought with her are very important" He walks over to Alpha Joe "This here is Alpha Joe of the White Rose Pack" He walks over to Sean "This is Sean. Some of you may recognise him as he is my cousin and Aunt Jodie's first born. He is also future Beta to the White Rose Pack and is mated to Alpha Joe's daughter Naomi" He walks over to Naomi "This is Naomi and she is now a member of my family" He then walks over to Jade. "This is Jade, she is the niece of Alpha Joe"

He comes and stands behind me.

"This girl is Jasmine. Yes she is human and yes she is expecting a pup and is the most important person in our group of guests. The White Rose Pack contacted me a few days ago offering me an alliance in exchange for hiding Jasmine and and keeping her safe amd protected. I agreed to this deal. Jasmine will be taking over the Luna duties so Granny can go back to enjoying her retirement. We will be holding a joining ceremony for Jasmine tomorrow night followed by a pack run. Everyone who has their wolves must be in attendance, any questions?"

He looks around the room and a hand pops up. "What is your question Maria?" A little girl around the age of 5 or 6 stands up "Is she your mate Alpha? Should we call her Luna?"

Alpha Daniel is about to answer her when I stop him. I walk over to Maria and bob down so I am looking her in the face. "No, I am not his mate angel and you can call me Jasmine" She grins at me and says "Okay, but I dont want to call you Jasmine"

"What would you like to call me Maria?" I ask her with curiosity.

"Imma call you Jazzy" she declares proudly, earning her a giggle from me.

"Well Maria, I'm Jazzy and its lovely to meet you" I put my hand out for her to shake but she ignores it and hugs me instead.

"Ok pack, that is enough for now. There is a pack meeting tonight at 7pm, spread the word about, enjoy your breakfast" Alpha Daniel leaves no more room for discussion.
