Hannah's POV I held my face in my arms as the stinging pain of the back hand slap faded. By now my eyes were already red with tears but I tried my best to keep a straight face. I was being escorted in literal chains to an underground location. The place very scary with it’s dim red lighting and dank smell. But the scariest part of it were the people. The people who laughed and jeered at me, screaming obscene and demeaning insults. I was horrified when a man even grabbed my butt in the open, and many tried to copy him. I was suddenly called out of my thoughts by the deep voice of the man pulling me forward in chains. “Look straight you good for nothing. It’s a good thing that having any sense is not a requirement for getting a good price off your head.” My Dad said with a cigarette between his teeth as he yanked my chain forward. When my Dad had first told me matter-of-factly that he was going to sell me off to pay back some of his debts I had thought he must have been joking. After he had made himself clear by slapping me, I had vehemently refused his ‘offer’. That was when he had given me no choice by threatening to sell of my little sister, Lorraine, instead. Lorraine was basically the only family I had left after my mother had died giving birth to her. Back then my father wasn’t bankrupt yet even though anyone who saw his lifestyle would wonder why. My mother had been the one keeping the family together, and I had fond memories of her even though I was very little. She had given her life for Lorraine so I would give mine for her too. “Here she is.” My father said to a tall dark man wearing shades. He looked at me in a way that made my skin crawl. His gaze went over me like I was simply an object to be appraised for value. “I thought you said you could get me something high quality. This b***h looks good enough but her ass aren’t big enough to get you a good price.” The man said in a disapproving manner. “Tchhh. It’s the best I’ve got. At least getting rid of this trash for any price would let me gain something.” My Dad said as he yanked my chain forward in a forceful manner. “But surely you can start the auction at a good price. Maybe if you get a closer look at her.” My Dad said in a conspiratorial manner. He then looked at me. “Hannah, take your clothes off. You can leave the under wear anyhow.” I couldn’t believe what he was asking. We were out in the open and I could hear multiple voices ahead. People were still passing us by and he was asking me to do something as degrading as stripping naked in public? I shook my head to show my reluctance. My Dad didn’t show any reluctance though as his fist hit my gut with huge force. I lean into his fist with the pain, my hands chained together prevented me from blocking as he have me another punch. “Little b***h, you’re lucky that I can’t harm the merchandise too much or you won’t sell very high. Now you’ll do as I say.” My Dad said. The other man just looked at us like it was completely normal. “Please be quick, the auction is about to start. Make sure you don’t mess up her face.” He said to my Dad. I was finally caught my breath as the pain subsided a little. With tears, I slowly took off my clothes. All that was covering me now we’re my bra and panties. “Well she doesn’t look bad. There’s slightly bruising from your punch but if she goes out like this then she’ll get a good price. Okay I’ll raise the starting price a little. Now take her back stage.” The dark man said and walked away. My Dad yanked me forward naked and we walked to a dark room with make up, clothes and other items on the table. My Dad reached up and grabbed my face between his fingers. “Now, you better behave Hannah unless I’ll beat the s**t out of you again and also add your sister as a bonus. If you don’t get a good price then I’ll be selling your sister too. Heaven knows that I could do with one less worthless mouth to feed.” I nodded and he let me go. “Now walk through that door and put on a smile.” My Dad said as he pointed at a door. I could hear a cacophony of voices coming from behind the door so I was reluctant to go with my underwear, practically naked. “Move it before I damaged the merchandise.” My Dad said through gritted teeth as he used his sleeves to wipe my tears. I reluctantly complied. I opened the door with a little difficulty due to my chains and walked through the door and was greeted with a big room full of chairs and a rowdy crowd. A man in a gray suit walked over to me and grabbed my arms, pulling me to the center of the stage. “And just in time you’ll see our first piece of the day. A fine lady with a body ripe for acquisition. She is just 20 years old and has a nice rare combination of red hair and green eyes. The bidding starts at $100,000!” The man said to the crowd and some jeering began. I looked into the crowd full of men, their ugly eyes undressing me as they bid higher and higher to buy me. I shivered as I thought of the horrible things that awaited me when one of them bought me. That was when a certain man caught my eye. He wore a white neat suit and he was cleanly shaven. His handsome face looked out of place here and the angry look in his eyes made my heart beat faster. The man besides him on the other hand had the evil face common in the crowd. I felt a shiver as the handsome man stared straight at me when I was almost naked. The man besides him raised his hand and shouted suddenly. “Two hundred and fifty thousand dollars!” “Two hundred and fifty thousand dollars! Going once! Going twice! And… Sold!” The announcer said. “Please the new owner should come and take his merchandise off stage.” The announcer said. The man then stood up and walked to the stage. He pulled on my chains with a disgusting smile on his face. “You’ll be my slave bitch.” He said. We then heard a voice from the crowd. “Let’s see her t**s!” “Okay, but just a peek.” The man who had bought me said as he touched my breasts to try taking off my bra. I screamed and tried pulling away but he held me firmly. I was about to be stripped naked in front of a crowd. In vain, I try to swing my arms at him but I’m slowed down by the chains, he easily blocks the attack. The man was about to hit me when big strong hands grabbed his arm and held him back. It turned out to be the man in the white suit. He looked furious. “What? Get off Roman, she’s mine.” The man who bought me said. “I won’t stand for this Bernard.” Roman says. My eyes locked with Roman. He seemed like he stared into my soul. Roman turns to the crowd and raises his hands. “One million dollars.” He said calmly as he pulled me away from Bernard. The crowd fell silent as he called the exorbitant price. “And she is sold for a million dollars!” The announcer said in a disbelieving voice. “Keys.” He asks the announcer in a deep growling voice as he passes by. The announcer nervously hands him the keys and he immediately unlocks my chains. Roman walks me out of the room and finally utters his first words to me. “I’m taking you home.”
