I broke my rules for Selene. I showed no leniency to anyone else, but her. One glance. One caress. That was all it took for her. I could have any woman in the world. Anyone would yield at a single look. The world was my playground, politicians in my pocket, police in my palms, and the corporate world under my regime.
Out of all the girls in the line-up, I chose a woman with more baggage than my childhood. I stared at the video once again. Her trembling hands reached for the plug. Then, in silence, she glanced at the comatose sibling. A thought crossed her blank expression. A pillow over his face, then, it fell to the floor. Her hands were on his neck and she squeezed.
The line went flat.
