Gin Pov
Jasper quickly loaded us into the car and took off driving faster than he did on the way here. He wouldn't say anything besides "it's no longer safe for me here.".
I don't know why but I felt irrationally angry about the whole situation, I was enjoying our time alone, away from everyone else, no one to judge or question us.
I tried to shove it away, but the rage builds in me like a fire licking at my lungs and heart, making it hard to breath. Jasper places his hand on my leg but I fling it away and a deep growl exits my mouth.
He slams on the breaks and we skid to a halt. He's yanks the keys out of the ignition and turns to me cupping my cheeks and meeting my eyes.
"Shit..shit..shit..Gin listen to me, I need you to breathe baby. Close your eyes and focus on my voice."
