CHAPTER 1 "I've never seen something like this, I don't think he'll survive it." the doctor said with a bit of hesitation. Mr and Mrs Dalton looked at each other in relieve. They had tried over and over again to kill the boy. He wasn't normal. he'd always did nothing but torment their life and now he would be gone. Mr Dalton-also known as Chriss- slipped a huge sum of money to the doctor when no one was looking. "make sure you don't let him survive." he'd given the doctor a Stern look and the doctor knew that under no circumstances was the boy allowed to live. The doctor then nodded, understanding the look. "of course sir." * * * Leon had never felt so much pain in his life. It was like his heart and every organ was being sliced over and over again. He tried sitting up but it was like he was being restrained, he heard his father whispers from outside the door. He was talking to another man whose voice was filled with hesitation. The man asked with dread "are you sure about this?". Dad voice was filled with annoyance towards the man " I'm paying close to a million dollar and you're asking questions?" " I need you to know that this is risky,I can go to jail for this..." the unfamiliar voice was silenced by Leon's dad " That boy in there is a monster, you don't know what he's capacity of. I want him dead or I'd be dead." dad hissed out the last part. Inside the room, Leon gasped quietly. His father wanted him dead. His own father. The other man's heart was beating rapidly, probably in fear. But his own father's was steady,as if what he was about to do wasn't cruel at all. " There are other doctors who can help me do this" he sighed, sounding irritated at the man. " No, no I'd do it" " Good" Leon looked around the hospital. The window was shut closed and there was a black restraint around his chest, making sure he wouldn't be able to move an inch. He needed to get out of there. He needed to find a way. The door opened and a short man with greying hair came in. When he saw Leon had woken up,he paused with uncertainty. Leon instantly recognized the man as the person his dad was talking to. The man cleared his throat, looking everywhere but at him. " you're awake" he sounded rather than looked surprised that he was indeed awake. "please...d-don't kill me" he winced at how pathetic his voice sounded like. The doctor literally froze, shocked at how he knew that was what he wanted to do. Leon had accepted that he was indeed not normal when he was only six. At first he thought he was turning mental when he voices. But then he started to realize that the voices he heard were actually real but just far away. Then the older he got, he developed other kind of skills like reading people's mind, manipulating them, telekinesis and most of all, having the ability to move super fast and heal quickly. He knew his parents didn't like him and his siblings were afraid of him and he tried so hard to gain their affection, even if it was only little. He wanted to be loved and appreciated by the people he cared about. But going to the extent of killing him made him feel like he should have tried harder. But now it was too late,they were tired of him and that pained and broke him. Leon tried getting into the doctor's mind to manipulate him but the pain he was feeling was too much for him to concentrate,so he found out pleading was the only thing he could do. Unfortunately the doctor had already made up his mind.He could tell through his scent.He smelled of determination. "Don't worry, you won't feel a thing" He brought out a syringe that had a foreign liquid inside. The doctor stepped closer to him and what Leon saw before the syringe penetrated his veins was the two people who he had called his parents and trusted them with no doubt - standing at the doorstep and watching the whole scene. pure and constant relief written on their face.
