Damian is back in his office going through video footage of the parking lot. Saoirse heard movement in his office and peeked her head around the door.. She saw him sitting at his desk. Concentrating on the screen. She went to the kitchen, poured him a coffee and carried it into him. He looked up at her when she set it down. He smiled and pulled her into his lap.
"What's going on?" She asked. The screen was paused.
He lightly kissed brow. "The man who oiled to pole says he was hired by a man to work tonight. He was paid in the parking lot. I'm checking video to see if we can get a look at who he is." He says deeply.
She turns and looks over her shoulder. He runs the video slowly. frame by frame. They see the silver Mercedes pull in and park close to the alleyway. Then they see a man walk across the parking lot and talk to a man who rolls the window down and sticks his arm out and hands the man something. They speak for a minute. Then the walker nods his head a couple times. The guy in the car then hands the man an envelope. It's at this point the man sticks his head out the window just a bit more to say something else as the other man starts to walk away. That's when Damian pauses the video and slowly blows the face up on screen. Saoirse gasps. She leans closer to the screen. "That's him! Damian, that's the man I saw in the alley that day! He's the one who shot Lena." He looked at her then focused his eyes on the screen.
He studied his face. He didn't recognize this man. He was not someone he ever remembered running into. He sent a copy to his printer to get a copy so his men could look at it.
"Is Silver still here?" He asked her. She rested her head on his shoulder. Her cuddled her closer.
"No. Anthony came and got her to take her home. To be honest with you I think there might be something with her and Anthony." She giggled. "Silver gets all flushed when ever she mentions him."
"What about Scott?" He asks her.
"Well he and his band went on the road. She says he's been gone now for a week and a half and he hasn't called her once. She said she tried calling him late one night, but another girl picked up his phone. She said she sounded like she had just woken her up. It upset her at first, but apparently it's not the first time Scott has done that. Apparently he has affairs with roadies all the time."
He lightly runs his finger tips over her thigh. Little goose bumps form across her skin. "So now she's interested in Anthony?"
"Maybe. I mean, Anthony does spend a lot more time with her right now. So maybe. Would that be a bad thing?" She leans out to look into his eyes.
"Silver is a nice girl. If she and Anthony have a spark who am I to get in the middle of it." He smiles. "I wouldn't be happy if someone tried to get between you and me." He stated.
She leaned in closer and their mouths closed on one another. His tongue slipped alone her bottom lip and then pushed in. He deepened the kiss. His hand sliding up the back of her head and fisting in her red hair. His other hand clamped on her thigh. His erection pressed into her hip.
She slipped her arms around his neck. Wiggling on his lap to get closer, he moaned. "OH baby!" He breather into her neck. "If we keep this up, I'll be carrying you into my bedroom." He ran his lips up over her jaw line and nibbled on her ear lobe. His hand moved from her thigh to one of her breasts. kneading it to a stiff peak. She threw her head back and arched her throat into his mouth. "Damian!" She moaned. "I...I think I want you to carry me to your bedroom." She gasped
He stood up with her locked in his arms. He started towards the door of the apartment when the phone started ringing. He looked down at the caller ID. It was Dominic. He pressed his lips into her ear. "I'm sorry babe. It's Dom, I need to get this." He let her legs go and she slid to the floor, but he kept his arm wrapped around her waist. "Dom, What do you know?"
"It's not good news." Dominic sighed. We got here to Tory's and he dead. Shot. Looks like the same caliber as was used on Lena. He's been dead for maybe a day. I sent the guys over to out missing bartender too. The landlord said she saw him packing his car last night for a trip. We're headed back to the club now. I'll get Donavan back to his motel and then we can talk."
"Okay. Just come on up when you get here. I went through the security tapes of the parking lot. We've got a picture of our man. Saoirse ID'd him as Lena's shooter. Bring Donavan up with you. I want him to see this guy too." Damian hugged Saoirse closer to his side.
"I'll be there in ten." Dominic hung up.
"What happened?' She saw the tightness in his shoulders.
"I sent the guys to go check on Tory. They found him dead. They also went to check on the absent bartender. He left town." He locked his fingers together behind her back. I don't know how late I'll be tonight love. Why don't you head to bed. I promise I'll fill you in tomorrow." He kissed her forehead.
She nodded and rested her head against hie chest over his heart. "Tuck me in?"
He scooped her up and carried her down the hall to his room. He set her down next to his bed and pulled the bedding down. He helped her lift her dress off. She reached behind herself and unsnapped her bra and let it fall off her arms. He lightly ran a hand across her breasts. "Sleep in here. I'll feel better knowing your in here waiting for me." He whispered. She reached up and pulled his head down an kissed him deeply.
"Okay." She whispered back.
He helped her onto the bed and pulled the sheets up over her. He gave her another passionate kiss then broke away. "I need to deal with this tonight, but knowing your here makes me feel much better." He pushed hair off her brow and kissed her forehead. He stood and walked to the door." I won't shut it all the way." He pulled the door halfway shut. He went back to his office to wait for Dominic. The body count was going up. Now one of his own men was dead. And all he knew was that apparently there was one man responsible. The mysterious blonde man with a mark across the side of his face.
