Two weeks after the break up of Claudius and Joana, Joana decides to heal but at least through a gradual process and focusing on self-improvement. She did not want anything to weigh her down both emotionally and career-wise. She used that period to create swimsuit designs.

She made sure she drew the perfect swimsuit designs for the contract she had gotten from the Peony Fashion collections.

It was on a Monday morning when the alarm rang with the time around 5:00 am. Joana rises from her bed and prepares to go to the fashion company in which she will submit her design. Joana had always wanted to have a fashion company of her own which was only for swimsuits but Joana had always been short of funds and not by unluckiness.

It was not that Joana was lazy; of course, she had made different swimsuits for various fashion companies and for her to win the contract to design the swimsuit for the Big Peony fashion company. Joana is not also a wasteful spender. She is a very prudent woman who has always thought of starting her brand but her weakness would not let her be selfish about her goal in life; which is love. Claudius had always acted like a parasite in Joana’s life.

Claudius is a chronic gambler. He had always used emotional manipulation to swindle Joana of her money romantically. Claudius is an unsuccessful Kickboxer, sorry to use the word unsuccessful; that would be because the money he gets from kickboxing is what he squanders.

As Joana prepares in the morning, she leaves for work to go and show her designs before making them. As she enters the company, a slim young woman awaits her as she welcomes her and wants to escort her to the board office.

“Good morning, You must be Miss Angelou. You are welcome to Peony Fashion Company. I am the Secretary and I have been awaiting your arrival to direct you to the board office. I am Briana by name”, says Briana.

“Oh, wow!Good morning, Miss Briana. It’s a pleasure meeting you”, Joana says with excitement shaking her hands to greet.

The two shook hands together and then, Briana said;” Miss Angelou, this way please “, she said showing her the direction by gesturing with her hands. As the two women walked together, Joana looked at how big and beautiful the building of the company looked and then said a silent “Wow!” gesturing with her mouth wide open.

Joana and Briana get to the twelfth floor of the building in which the board office was. Every of the team and top officials of the company had awaited Joana like she was some kind of celebrity.

“Good morning, everyone. I am sorry; I came in a bit late “, Joana says.

Meanwhile, she was just two minutes late. There was a projector and other equipment to illustrate and show off her designs. She connected the necessary equipment with her laptop to illustrate the design on the board that was in the board office.

After she had shown them all of her designs. The board officials were impressed by the swimsuit, the board officers applauded her. She reciprocated the applause with a bow combined with a gesture of appreciation.

“Thank you, Thank you “, Joana says in excitement with a blush.

“Miss Angelou, what can I say but to say that I am blown away with your designs? The designs are artistic in such a way that it brings out the confidence and sexiness in a woman.”, the director of the company says while playing with the biro in his fingers.

Joana gives a big smile with a blush. The director stands from his chair to leave the room.” You can go ahead in making the swimsuit “, the director says as he tries to leave the office and then gets closer to Joana. He then places his hands on her shoulder.

“Keep up the good work, “the director says with a smile and then leaves the office.

“Miss Angelou, We would like you to follow us to our design factory, where clothes are made and where you would be making the swimsuit, Sarah (the head of the production team unit)says.

“I am Sarah Martins by the name “, she says sounding formal.

“ I am the head of the production team unit. It’s this way, she leads as she follows her acting sheepishly to her body filled with too much of hormones that cause overjoyed feelings.

The Factory room

Joana and the (HOPTU) Sarah Martins leave the factory room.

Joana heads to the break office where people could go to make coffee for themselves. Joana makes a coffee for herself and as she is leaving the break room with the coffee in her hands, she puts a call on her friend: Phoebe.

“Ahhhhhhhhh”, Joana screams with laughter.

“Phoebe, you need to know what happened to me at work, Joana says

“Urgh-Gh, what?”, Phoebe chuckles.

“ The director of the company liked my design and he said to me with a pat on my shoulder;” Keep up the good work”.And I am to start work tomorrow……Girl this place is very big”, says Phoebe

As the Elevator door opens, she meets the director alone in the Elevator she turns to enter and he greets her with a smile.

“Hi, Joana “, he greets her.

“Hello, Mr…………urgh, direct……..”, Joana says before being interrupted.

The director then interrupts her saying;

“Clinton Donald”

“Owwwww, Mr. Clinton”, she gives a short smile.

“Owww, You must be a creative person for your designs are lit “, Clinton says.

“Really?”, Joana asks.

“Yeah “, Clinton replies.

“And by the way, I love your dress, it’s looking so nice and unique “, Clinton says.

“Really?”I made it myself, Joana says.

“Wow!” you make dresses too, Clinton inquires.

“Yes, I do”, Joana says.

“I guess you’ve got a lot of talent then. It would really be a nice thing for you to work in this company “, Clinton says.

“ Thank you, sir, I will be taking my leave now”, Joana says as the Elevator door opens on the twelfth floor.

“Take care then”, Donald says.

After Joana leaves the Elevator, Donald receives a call on the phone.

“Yeah, Hello…………. What do you mean it is late? But did you tell me?”

“I forgot…….,”, he says squeezing his face.

“Jeez….., I would have to leave for his place tomorrow.”
