Chapter2

He was so busy on his laptop when he heard the knock on the door and he muttered "come in" to whoever was there.

He decided to conduct the interview by himself so he'll select the best person for the job. He was tired of those stupid assistants he has worked with in the past. They were all bunch of lazy people.

His last PA was fired by him after only three weeks of working with him. She couldn't cope with the loads of work.

He raised up his head to see who just walked in and he was shock to see the lady he hooked up with the previous night checking the office out.

She left the hotel room few days ago without taking the money he left in her bag before going to wash up in the bathroom.

His eyes were fixed on her very beautiful and perfectly curved body. The body he held few days ago. Having s*x with someone he just met wasn't his thing. He like knowing who he was going to sleep with before going down that lane because he didn't want to be infected with any disease but he couldn't hold himself after seeing her perfectly curved shape and when he approached her, she didn't say no so he couldn't help it.

She was looking so beautiful and innocent in her outfit like she didn't had a weird night with a stranger two nights ago.

Her eyes ran into his but he didn't break it. The staring competition continue as no one had the intention of breaking it.

Samantha got herself back after staring for a while and she cleared her throat so the lump in her throat could disappear.

"Good morning sir, I'm Samantha Lucas. I'm here for the interview" she splutter hurriedly as she walk closer to his desk to have a sit.

He was Grayson Williams, the son of a business tycoon - Adam Williams. He is the CEO of G.W Cooperation which was formerly known as A.W Cooperation.

The company was built by his great grand father and it has passed on to different generations ever since and now it's his turn to be CEO. His brother, Ethan was the COO and together, they are running the company even though there was a big differences between them.

"I haven't instructed you to sit down yet young lady" His deep masculine voice said.

Samantha immediately sprang up from the chair as she bow in apology. His voice was so terrifying.

"I'm so sorry... sir" she said

"Why are you here?" he ask

"I came for the interview sir" she replied

"What are your qualifications?"

"Here are my documents sir" she stretch her file to him and he collected it.

He flip through the files and he couldn't understand the nerve for her to come here when she doesn't have enough documents to qualify her even though the ones she has was very good.

"What is this?" he ask waving her file in her face and eventually throw it away all over the floor.

"M.. my documents s.. sir" She said stammering. She was so scared right now. She bend down to pick up her files and arrange it back neatly again. She was surprised that the gentleman that handled her with care is the same man treating her like trash now.

"I know it's your documents dummy. The nerve for you to come here when your documents isn't enough to qualify you. What do you take this company for? A place for getting drunk and playing around?" He yell

Samantha raised her head that was bow before... how dare he use night's ago mistake against her? She wasn't thinking straight then because she needed a distraction from the hurtful things she saw two months ago at her ex's place.

"I'm not a slut" she muster up the courage to face him.

"Come again "

" How dare you try to see me as a slut? Don't you know a slut when you see one or you're just blinded by the fact that you get to throw money around to get what you want? I didn't even accept your stupid money" she said angrily.

" The nerves you've got there... how dare you come into my company for an interview as my personal assistant with that trash you call documents? "

" Trust me Mr, if I knew this was your company, I wouldn't have bothered myself with the whole stress."

" Who doesn't know Gray Williams and his company or you're just a petty liar? "

" Well I guess you were not that important for me to bother myself with such details. Now if you'll excuse me, I beg to take my leave " Samantha said angrily and turn around to leave.

" Not a step" His deep masculine voice ordered and she pause on her track immediately. His voice sent chills down her spine. She turn around to face him.

"What do you want?" she ask

"Work for me" He ordered. He didn't want her to go for a reason he couldn't say. Two nights ago was magical as he has never felt that way towards any woman before. He has never wanted to keep any woman he has had a one night stand with. Once he gets to know the person he's sleeping with, they have s*x and that's it. Nothing more than that.

"What? No! " she immediately replied

"Who's asking for your opinion? I'm ordering you to work for me"

"What if I say no? " Sam ask in anger

"Then I'll make sure you never get to work anywhere else not even in local stores and I'll make sure you never get an accommodation in this country. You'll never be allowed to leave the country and I'll make sure you never get to kill yourself and you and anyone close to you will become miserable for the rest of your lives " he spill

" Mr, what did I do wrong to you? Was it a crime to have had a one night stand with you? Did I force you to come to me to ask for s*x? What the hell is my crime? " Samantha yell in frustration. Can her day get any better? She was breathing so heavily in anger.

" Are you working for me or not? or do you want your life to be miserable forever Ms Samantha?" he smirk.

Sam didn't know what to do, she was so speechless. She just stare at him dumbstruck. If not for the fact that this beast on front of her added everyone close to her into this mess, she would have walk out of the office and won't mind to bear the consequences alone but she can't let Olivia who has been nothing but a sweet soul to her to get hurt because of her mistake.

"So what do you say?" he ask as he walk closer to her in small steps. He grab her by the waist and make her face him.

"Or you want the scene of two nights ago to replay here?" he spoke softly in her ear.

"Mr...

"Grayson" his breathe was all over her neck and she couldn't help but think of two nights ago.

" Mr... Gray, what are you doing? " she muster all the courage she could find to say that.

" You're so beautiful Sam" he whisper to her hearing and buried his head on her neck. Everything he was doing to her sent chills down her spine she couldn't help but close her eyes to feel the pleasure.

Gray stayed there for a while before leaving her to his desk and Sam open her eyes.

~Why did he stop?~ she thought.

"The company resumes work by 7:30am and lateness is prohibited" He said going back to being strict again.

" Okay " she said and hurriedly left the office. She got the job but it came with a threat. A threat to make her and anyone close to her miserable for the rest of their lives of she dare quit.

She board a cab home this time around because the public bus won't be fast enough. Her friend wasn't home when she got home.

~She might have gone to her boyfriend's place~ Sam thought.

She went to the kitchen to wet her throat with water as she recall all that happened in Gray's office and the feeling started rushing back again.

How is working with him going to be like?

Is she going to enjoy working with him or regret ever going for the interview?

She drop the glass when she was done and went to her room still thinking about her new job and didn't know when she fell asleep.

"Hey CEO" Ethan grin as he walk into gray's office with a file in his hand.

"What do you want and what the hell make you think that you can come into my office anyhow you like?" Gray said giving him dead glance.

From the look between the two young men's eyes, one could sense that they weren't in good terms with each other. It's obvious they hate each other.

" It's a privilege that you're sitting where I should be but it won't be for long" Oliver said with an emotionless face.

" In your dreams" Gray fired back furiously and Oliver just smirk and throw the file on Gray's desk.

" Here... sign those files"

"What are these for?" Gray ask angrily

"Are you afraid that you're going to sign the company to me? Read them" Oliver smirk

Gray took the file on the desk and look through it.

" What's the meaning of this?"

"It's the Berlins Group of company contract..."

" I told you that company is not a good one and we shouldn't bother investing so why am I seeing a contract between them and us?" Gray spark in anger.

Gray's instinct told him not to sign and make his investigations before signing. His private investigator was still on it and with the results so far, it was obvious that the company was really a scam as he thought.

" Sign the damn contract" Ethan yell

" Ethan are you going insane? "

" Sign the damn thing bro "

" I'm not going to sign it...So get lost this minute "

" What are you saying? "

" Leave my office now"

" Are you serious right now? "

" Leave my office or I'll call the security " Gray order

" I'm going to leave but it not because of the security. Keep enjoying this position, I'll be back " Ethan said and left gray's office smiling like a devil.

They were step brothers. Gray's father married Ethan's mum after his mum died and since then, it's been from one war to the other.

Ethan has tried everything possible to bring him down and make him look incapable in front of their father but as far as he's concerned, he's never going to let Ethan have his way in making him go down.

"You're awake" Sam heard Olivia's voice when she woke up.

"You're back..." Sam said

"Yeah...came back few hours ago andd found you sleeping"

"How did your date go?" Sam ask

"It went well but just that the question wasn't popped" Olivia said feeling a bit sad.

"Come on girl, cheer up. He didn't ask today doesn't mean he won't ever ask. Maybe he's just waiting for the perfect time."

"What perfect time? We've been dating for two years Sam"

"Still... I feel like you should just calm down and see how things go okay"

"Okay ... So what about you, did you get the job?"

" Yes I did" Sam said smiling

" Oh my God, I told you Sam. They can't withstand your smartness. You were just too good for the job that they couldn't resist it. I'm so happy for you" Olivia's face lit up a bit.

" Thank you "

" So when are you resuming?"

" Tomorrow "

" Oh"

" Guess what happened today?"

" What?" Olivia ask curious to know.

" The stranger I had a one night stand with two nights ago is my new boss"

" Jezzz girl, Seriously ? You mean you had a one night stand with the CEO of one of the biggest company in this city?" Olivia said in disbelief

" I'm dead serious Oli" Sam said

" I spell trouble but girl this huge" Olivia said smiling

" He actually forced me to work for him, else he'll make me and anyone close to me miserable for the rest of our lives so I had no choice " Sam said picking on her fingers.

" Girl calm down, you don't need to be worried about it okay. As far as he's going to pay you handsomely for working for him then there's no big deal here and beside it's your dream to work in an office right?" Olivia said

" You're right, I guess I should just look at the bright side then" Sam smile

" That's the spirit girl" Olivia said smiling.

" Thank you. Did you make anything?" Sam ask

" I made omelette, do you want some?"

" Ofcourse... I'm so hungry right now" Sam said and jump out of the bed to the kitchen.

" Careful and you still haven't told me how s*x with your new boss felt like" Olivia yell after sam.

"Oh shut up Oli...I'm not spilling any goddamn thing" Sam said and it left Olivia laughing.

The next morning, sam's alarm ring out so loudly beside her bed and she woke up after tossing and turning from one side to the other. She took the alarm and was about to turn it off when her eyes came in contact with the time on the alarm - 7:00am.

She sprang up from the bed immediately and started getting ready. She had set the alarm the previous night to 6:00am but the stupid alarm decided to ring an hour late.

"It's your first day of working in the beast's company and you're going to go late... Perfect Sam, so perfect. Mr Gray is definitely going to skin you alive" she muttered in frustration.
