Arc 3 - Chapter 3: Illustration of Harmony

In front of the house we saw another creature, not those corrupted creature but this one is on a different level. It is a blue scholar with the hood covered his eyes, on his hand is a book and a tome, but not just the scholar in this battle, behind him is a lot of portal. From those portal are a lot of soldiers, they are not from this world, corrupted creature doesn't look like any of these creature, these creature, there are paterns on them. 

"They are coming, our reinforcements, i don't need that but any aid is good."

A pillar of light appear from the sky, the light fade and inside the light is another scholar, he looks more like a bishop, he wore a pair of glass and a white robe but his robe is a not just a simple robe, it is a combination of a lab coat and a priest robe. He wield a staff and in another hand is a gauntlet, sometime people of this world have a wierd decision but who am i to judge.

"How do you do, master of the Yhaeon's family."

"I am fine and this is..."

"I know who is this, this is our latest family member."

The bishop walk toward me and give me a hug, he have a nice scent, not perfume but incense, that is much more relaxing, the scent is nice while he keeps stroking my head. I am not complaining, a gentle gesture like that is what i need after everything happened in my life but we should focus on the problem before us. After a brief explaination from Orlios, we learned the fact about an organization called Malcion or its remnant and in front of us is Starlight, the most dangerous creature created by that Organization. Starlight is powerful enough to annihilate a continent and they were used by Malcion themselves in many other worlds.

"You don't need to do anything, just watch us taking care of this for you."

"Don't get cocky or trying to impress him Jorges, Starlight is no joke, everyone, we must win, i need to stop them here."

"We got that, is everything ready Hakku ?"

"The everything is complete, Rule of life - Rite of Longevity."

Hakku's staff planted on the ground, the staff turned into a small tree and grow taller and finally it turned into a giant tree, the ground, the plain turned into a lake, crystal clear water show our reflection. This is perfect battlefield for all of us, Karlos cut through the water aim for the Starlight's weakpoint while Hank making distraction with his roar. Sven stomp on the water surface, the water splash up turned into ice, the ice the turned into a barrier and formed into Sven's armor. Hakku's staff turned into a giant tree, enemies weakened is turned into small balls of light and absorbed into the tree and the tree keep growing higher.

"The midnight bloom is almost here, my awakening is painful and hideous, please help me relieve the pain."

"We will try our best to relieve the pain you have to endure. Tomoe."

"I am ready, this time, let reach the true harmony between us."

Tomoe turned into a ball of bluelight and disappear but i heard something else inside my head, Tomoe's voice, the blessing of a god, no it is something more. Is this a true harmony, but i believe i can do everything together with Tomoe, i saw myself reflected on the water surface, wearing his cloth and having his horns. My instrument, Koto shining with a gentle azure light, the water surface vibrating but another thing i see, Orlios's tranformation. His transformation just like he said, not hideous, it is just painful, vines come out from the lake and turned into tattoo on his body, his clothing turned into a brown cloak and a lamp appeared in his hand. 

"That really give me some relieve."

"But i didn't do anything yet."

"You don't need to, our power can have influence on other people even if we didn't do anything."

"Never know you can have this but i think i should give you an impression."

Jorges swing his staff, an arc of light appear cut through everything, the creature turned into dust, Hank and Karlos attack everything in their sight. Their movement is dominating while Hakku and Sven protecting Orlios, with his power, Orlios destroy the minions of the Starlight with countless of vines. The vines come out from behind him strike through enemies and break the magic guard of the Starlight. But what we can't expect is the fact that the Starlight only using his minion as a shield to buy time for his spell.

"Higeki, you are the musician, when you perform, no one else allowed to interrupt it, our magician is not just supporting everyone, use our power to silence him."

With our concentration, the sound remain on this world can be our sound, no one can interrupt our performance, our performance null away all other sound. Because the Starlight come from a realm above us, that make their power different but because of the distance is not far too great, the Starlight's attack complete but its power is reduced. The attack only affect a small area, causing some vibration on the lake and that is everything, the Starlight is surprised but because of that he is distracted. Jorges jump on the Starlight and beating him with his gauntlet, not really a priest or a mage i see, after Jorges's assult, the Starlight is weakened and that is the moment the giant shine with the brightest light. The light absorb the Starlight encase it in one of the small sphere.

"A step closer toward the end of this curse and a step closer toward the end of this eternal conflict. Thank you Jorges for your support in this battle and thank you Higeki and Tomoe, without your help, Soleil is already gone. Now, i need to rest, Sven..."

"Don't need to do that, i am here for our family member, that's all. Higeki, the moment you step on the ground of this world we left Edolin to search for you, we even make a bet for who to found you first and here i am the one who found you last."

"I didn't meet Southlord yet."

"No but she saw you and always around you, she has been watching you since the moment you touch the ground of this world. Southlord is fast, faster than wind and sound, she can find you even if you try to hide, faster than anyone in Edolin."

A woman that faster than wind and sound and no one can escape her, i really want to meet her for some reason, maybe because she can be an interesting person but i just love to make friend with everyone. There will be time and places for everything, for now, i want to make sure to have more knowledge about this mysterious organization we faced against, after this we can come to Edolin for a trip. But now, everything is fine, let just get Tomoe out of me first, the first time we do this it still feel strange and we can't get used to it yet.

"Tomoe, time to come out now."

"Not yet, i found something inside you, i will get rid of it for you. This creature, draining your power, feast on your rule and making your mind falling for its manipulation, i must expel this creature out of reality, i am not allow creature like this to exist."

"No, Tomoe, i have better idea, encase it and expel it from me, there is a lot of information we can get from that thing, i should be honest with you, and here i am lying to you and embrace the pain to myself. Not the fact i am running away to embrace the pain, it is the fact that i can't trust other with my own pain."

"I understand, now we are closer than anything else, i understand the pain inside of your heart, i can felt that pain, your past sin, a small fragment of our memories. But there is no need for that feeling anymore longer."

I felt his hand on my back, hugging me on my shoulder, his fur brushing on the back of neck, his scent is gentle, the aroma of many flower and the scent of the wind in the full moon night. A scent remind me of the past, i saw what Chikyu talking about now, a flash of my memories, i saw a full moon, i saw myself performing on the lake. Tomoe is performing with his own power while other spirit watching us, if this is truly out past then what is this memories, there must be order of these memories. We looked at each other and decided, to get back what belong to us, our memories and everything that belong to us.

"Do you have a plan on naming your instrument ?"

"Now mention about that, i do have to think about that but i think we all think the same, i know you understand me and i know the name i am going to give."

"Of course, we understand each other, you and i, we all know our decision."

"Its name is..."

"Harmony."

"We do think the same."

"Our trust between each other, it share everything in our mind, that is the reason why i can be inside you and reinforce your rule turned from manifest into possess. But because of our bond we skipped possess and we reached harmony, and i am the one who devote to you."

"So many thing i didn't know about this world."

"We both didn't know but we can learn."

"You are right, we can learn."

Our harmony, our power, i can see a bright future in front of us but let do some more researching about this power, some research about my past, the Malcion and what happened in the past. But now, after get rid of the parasite we can study its memory and find more information about WORLD and their plan. This is truly a wonderful journey, finding my memories, discover what i can truly do with my own potential, along the journey there must be a villain and a schemer. But i notice something, Tomoe is whining, i pick him up and we rush back to the mansion, something is happening, something beyond my understanding.

"What is happening to him ?"

"This is not good, i presume the fact that he expel that creature from you, that creature attack him and damage him."

"Is there a way to save him, i can't lose him, this is all my fault, i should know that creature is just evil, i should protect him like what i always do."

"No, it is not your fault, i want to help you at least with something, your face show happiness but i know, water only reflect the truth, i thought i can help you. Now look at me, became miserable because of a creature like that."

"No."

"Please leave us, i will help your brother, i sworn on my name as a person of Yhaeon's family, i will save your brother. Please come to the garden, my ritual required my full concentration."

I made to the garden, waiting for me is Orlios, Karlos is sent to scouting on other area with Hank like they always do so the garden only have Sven and him. In Orlios's hand is a ball, much more like a mini prison, inside that prison is the parasite the thing that hurt him.

"I believe the one i am sitting on the same desk with is a person who can control himself."

"Pain and grief, i don't want to lost inside that but i also believe in the fact that emotion should not be held back. But for now, i have a better plan, i don't want to destroy that parasite, Orlios, i believe you can get many information about that thing, i doubt the fact that WORLD have some connection to Malcion."

"We can get a lot of memories from this thing i am sure that will happen. You should stay here with us, and it seem like the argument between Alria and Merce isn't over, Sven please arrange a room for our guest, make sure he is safe and everything is comfortable."

So we stayed here for now, there is a lot of thing we need to do, i have to help Tomoe, Alria need to learn more about the world but the most of all, he need to change the way Merce see the world. Building a heaven is never an easy job but we all have to try our best to do that and most of all, we have to save this world from the storm at the horizon, we know what they want and we will never going down without a fight. So now, fix a broken country, explore the world and what can i do to make this world stronger, everyone have to fight for themselves and for this world.
