Project Schemer - Salvatore Trilogy: Prelude

Arc 3 - Chapter 5: A rising kingdom.

"That is everything in his dream, we fought against that creature and end it existance once and for all." 

"To think a devious creature like that exist, that is truly fearful, i presume that everything is over right ?"  

"I guess i can say that for now but their movement must be stop, that organization want to reign over this world. Any news from the east ?"  

"Ikuni accepted to help us with that but with his playful nature that should took a while. His mind is not really into that matter."  

"That should explain everything, so, how was the discussion and the current state of our place ?" 

"Nothing really special, we just come to our decision and a clash between order and harmony that's everything."  

"Tell me everything about that please."  

"Alright."  .

So it is the discussion between them, much more like an arguement. A person represent harmony while the other represent order, the clash between idea, it just come the fact they have to decide between freedom to choose or the fact that they have to force that on other. A clash of thought how can that be boring, to let your mind make a decision on the fate of the world and choose what to become the future of this country. Which one can lead to prosperity, what can be more interesting than seeing the future but i still think everyone should have the freedom to choose. 

"I presume that your decision of harmony and freedom won ?" 

"Not quite, this is the first time we have a draw, our decision can't apply to anywhere because of the way other act. Some region may accept this decision but some will revolt and that will be something we need to avoid." 

"So how will the state of Soleil ?" 

"We will let Merce do her job with her team, all we need to do is communicate with the east. After 20 years of isolation, it should be the right time for this continent to stand with each other." 

I continue to play Harmony while Sou preparing tea and Tomoe practicing his old dance. His dance conjure water and manipulate them, we are trying to recover what we used to have but sometime, we think about create something new. Our moment, we need to reach something, something that can trigger a part of our memories, a song, another performance, even the future is not that bright but after every struggle, we believe we can reach it.

"I read about water spirit, they said that water cannot be controlled alone because those chosen to control them are children to shown purity. So instead a duet are chosen to control that element, that could be you and Tomoe." 

"I am not expecting that to be the case, i mean look at me, i am just a normal child. A spirit that govern over water, i don't think that is the truth, say i used to be one of his loyal servant that could make more sense."

"I still think you are a water spirit but somehow turned into a human but that is just my theory and that can't be all of the truth. You must have something else special, something that make lady Deora from Edolin have interest in you."

Maybe there is something in this memory, both of them maybe the truth of my past but in what order and why i can't remember anything, Alria saw a seal in my mind but what does that seal kept and is it the truth like what Chikyu said, the longer our adventure the weaker the seal become. By the time the seal reached its weakest power, we must act quickly and break the seal, but the thing i am afraid is the memories i am finding is the memories that i want to forget.

 "Could that be a possibility but i know one thing, there is nothing should be stolen, and this time, i will get back what is mine."

"We have a message from Merce, more like a conversation, do you want to join with us."

"My honor."

A screen with blue light is shown and it is a type of hologram that allow communication between the kings and the nobles, currently Merce's team. This method of communication helps a lot with the king, this allow the king to have more authority on the land beyond the wall. With the aid from Lumiere and everyone working on their task, the state of the country is better, Lady Raphia have a hidden talent in researching agriculture this make the country a lot better after the fall of those noble. Even now the god blessing this land once again the battle with the plague never end that fast, Libitina and Kuoni are doing everything they can to make a vaccine for the corruption. 

"Remind me again, how long was my slumber last ?"

"It is about two months, Tomoe woke up before you about 2 weeks but he always believes the fact you will wake up. There is no other clue he just believe and even preserve you inside a water casket."

"I know he will do that for me, he do everything for me afterall, and what about the other ?"

"Sou and Flour also stay close to you, while everyone else focus on researching for a way to improve your condition and also a way to change Soleil. We can't sit in this garden now without their effort."

I look at the screen and see every corner of Soleil, the land started to recover and i look at Alria again, there is something different about him. Maybe after that trip he learned compassion, he cares much more about everyone else and that made him care much more about himself, no more drowning in the past with the day his father still here. 

"I see your idea of this journey really help him."

"I just do what i can."

"And i think it help you too, am i right ?"

"You can say that, everything happened so perfect now i think about it, are you sure this is not your plan ? Everything goes like what you expected."

"If i can say anything, what happened to my son is expected but what happened to you is beyond my calculation. Can call that is luck, no, we can only call that an incident."

"Now you are a wicked one your highness."

"Am I ? Well, i don't call that wicked, how about we call that the cunning of an emperor."

"I called that luck of an empire, but i hope you could bring some of that luck to your son."

"My son doesn't need luck, he is much more talented than me and most of all, he has me by his side."

"Again, i have something i need to ask, during the battle with the four nobles, did Alria call you to capture that cloaked man ?"

"No, that must be his manifestation, a god choose him and consider to be his godfather, that is the reason why he called him father."

"So who is this god ?"

"Think about it, a god that have sharp eyes but his action is ferocious, who can that god be. I forgot you are a person come from another world, that should be Faol, the king of the hunt, his eyes give Alria the power to reinforce the soldier. But when the king start his hunt, that is the moment everything is over."

So Alria have his own manifestation, if everyone in this world can have manifestation then they can stand up for themselves and fought against WORLD. But what come after that is another story, I can already see what will happen, people united for one cause but after that, what will happen to this world, can people stand together, helding hands while knowing the fact that they can choose to stand above other. Everyone have their own pride, myself included, i just have smaller ego because i am a child.

"So before this, how can you describe yourself ?"

"Before this ?"

"Before you use that spell, and turned into a spirit and staying inside him, what is your appearance and power ?"

"I am a simple person, it has been so long that i forgot my own appearance, maybe a little bit old and but i can say i am quite handsome."

"That is what you presume right ?"

"You only live once, why not presume you are one of those special snowflake. Flower of eden, the sunlight that everyone desire, people always want them to be one of those flake, why not become one of them, why trying to held yourself back."

"Become a snowflake, i don't think that is your way of thinking, you just love yourself, confident with who you are and walk your own path, that is the reason why you are the king of Soleil. That is the reason why you are sitting here by your son."

"I think you're right. I am a little bit over protecting my son when i was there, actually, i love him more than anyone else, not because he remind me of my wife but it natural for any father to protect their child. Let us take a walk outside, i think that should let you experience what is the changes to Soleil."

We walked on the street of Lumiere, the city still joyful like everyday but something else changed, i see trader come from a lot of other region. So this is what happened when i was gone, the world changed beyond my recognization. People know how to progress and everyone live their way, singing their own song and telling their own stories, people of Soleil is special in their own way. Maybe because of their own teaching or because of something else, they know they have to stand up and live, learn from the mistake of their past and finally learn how to move toward a brighter future.

"This world really change, people unite with each other and move toward a brighter future. But the peace must be kept by themselves, do you agree with that."

"That will be the responsibility of Alria, for he is the king of Soleil."

"You didn't mention your name right ?"

"I am just an old man, a shameful person who can't be like them, i tried to call out everything a star to know they are beautiful, my sorrow because of mine uselessness."

"You are not useless, no one is useless, everyone in this world have a purpose. You just don't see that yet, how your wife devote to protect your country, to protect you and your child, how Alria want to protect you. How he needs you, you don't see that."

"No, i don't see that it is the simple fact that he is coming and he became what i am right now, the king of the hunt, i lied to you royal musician. I am the king of the hunt, the god of moonlight - Galer. I only appear like this because he wanted to see me like this. I still have a part of the past king - Erlnos but a contract is a contract, he lack of strength and i am lack of emotion."

"So that is the reason you two choose to stay with him."

"Erlnos still sleeping inside that dark crystal orb, that is the secret i wanted you to keep, so he can move forward. Until the day i can a way to save him then i will confess everything, now i will bear the role of a manifested god and a father to him."

"So you wanted to make another deal with me, i am fine with that but you should know, there is something you can't replace forever."

"People of Soleil is strong, rise from their own sorrow and reach for the sun, much like you, i believe in the future of this world, every country can be like Soleil, after maybe they can enter a new age."

We look toward the horizon and see so much, a world rising from despair but that isn't everything, we saw a ship from the east, the first in a dozen of year. So Ikuni is success, let march toward a brighter future, this is a new world now and we must act fast to protect it from them. WORLD won't stop until the day everything belong to them, the only chance we have is now, gather as many allies as we can.
