Arc 3 - Epilogue: Guest from the East

"We're here everyone, the great Soleil of the West, well, we all know Soleil is the only country of the West but an introduction is better than nothing."

Another sunny day in Soleil, summer is coming but the city have its own port so the gentle breeze from the sea is pleasant enough. The ship returned from the East and with that is our first interaction with them, Ikuni is the first to come down from the ship, still joyful while Hisa is much calmer. And finally the people of the East.

"It is our pleasure to be able to connect with the West again, i am Yoh from the tribe of snow leopard, these are my companion, everyone please greeting each other."

From the East are three ambassadors, Yoh from the tribe of snow leopard even a normal person but he has his own charisma since he is the leader. The other person is Tsuki from the bear tribe, they are said to born as Oracles their teaching involve studying the star and everything on the sky also their dream to make the best prediction. Tsuki do have other secret with him but i won't look into that, everyone has their own secret. The last person is a boy from a tribe of canine, his name is Koto, everyone else is adult while Koto is as young as Tomoe, much like a child i can say.

"We still missing someone, Chihoyo ?"

"Chihoyo ?"

"She is an important person from a great family, they said her grandfather served Hisa the sacred wind. After the disappearance of... Can i ask a question, is the Tomoe the sacred lord of water ?"

"Yes, why do you ask."

They bow right at the moment they hear yes, maybe sacred beast is really something in this world. According to them, the four sacred lords of element is worshipped by everyone in the Eastern Alliance but since the disappearance of the lord of scared water, everything went wrong, the lord left the land to find Tomoe the lord of sacred water. Now with the return of the lord of water return, a storm is coming to the eastern alliance and that included the rampage of WORLD.

"You should be careful when playing around the port."

"...Thank... you."

"You're welcome, it is the duty of a knight to help those in need. You are one of the ambassadors from the East right ?"

"Siorre, where did you found her ?"

"I found her in the dock, her golden tails let me know that she is not a native Soleilian like Flour so i took her here."

"Pardon us, this is the first time Chihoyo goes to the East so she is curious, control yourself Koto, your tail has been wagging for a while now."

They are children, much like me and Tomoe, curious about the world that they didn't know. Adults may cautious but children, what reflected in children's eyes is another thing, a world filled mystery and everything can be an amazing adventure. Alria smiles a little bit but after that he asked Siorre to take care of Chihoyo and Toko, even the captain of squad 3 can be this gentle.

"Speak for someone who is the new captain of Squad 1."

"Wait i am the new captain now ?"

"Since everyone votes like that even the current captain voted for you to become the new captain of the Squad 1 so i guess that make you their captain now."

"So i have to stay in Soleil now, i really want to travel the world out there."

After the guests invited to the garden in the palace, we sat there and discussion for a while about the future of two regions. After we heard from Yoh we know WORLD get their hand on the east, they are  controlling the some tribes and starting their invasion to every other tribes in Eastern Alliance. Feather tribe is trying their best to defend the rest of the continent, our reinforcement is required.

"Kullifer, please give Master Abrelard a word about our meeting in the garden, his presence is required here."

"Yes, my prince."

"Why he called you my prince ?"

"Because my father isn't here at the moment, do you wish to speak with him ?"

"We're sorry to say this not because we don't respect you."

"I am understand, i am a prince afterall and the fact i am very young and inexperience, my father is much better at this negotiate thing."

Like everytime, i already know this is not Erlnos but this is Galer, but if he can still play into the role of Erlnos then that is not something i have to think too much. But when Alria turned into Galer, something happened, something that only beastman can felt because i watched their expression, they were cheerful but now their faces even children like Chihoyo and Toko can felt that too. That they are sitting with a predator, he really earned the name of king of the hunt, Galer is calm but those sitting on the other side of the table isn't.

"This is..."

"You requested Alria's father then here i am, Erlnos, the king of Soleil."

"No, you are not Erlnos, i sense something else, something ferocious, something dark like i came from the ancient times that forgotten."

"You have a good insight but that is not something you will need to worry about, i am still an ally to human and i am still a father to Alria."

Galer do letting other feeling who is the dominant here, his power create fear among the table and only the beastman can feel that, after all, Galer is a beast so i guess that is how thing goes. We remain silence, the only sound in the garden is the sound of Harmony and the sound of water cutting through the air from Tomoe. We are waiting for Abrelard while Sou is making tea like he always does, the aroma of the herb combine with the sound, the atmosphere we created seem to help everyone. Galer's pressure is faded and everyone started to relax a little bit and that is the moment we know master Abrelard and his brother master Othelio. Both of their presence are required.

"Thank you for coming master Abrelard, some and have a sit, we just getting started."

"This way of speaking, you're him right ?"

"It seem like our guest want to see me and have no desire to talk with Alria but i can tolerate that. But back the our current matter we need to take care of."

Master Abrelard heard the situation but presume he already knew what is going on, i mean the moment we mentioned the East master Lucius already had his own plan. The raven is faster than anyone and much more cunning, master Lucius commanded his elite students to scout the East. The scent of herbal tea and honey is filled the garden, our discussion continue with Abrelard's solution is deploy one of the squad to reinforce the East. 

"With the new technologies that Merce created then i guess sending Squad 1 and Higeki shouldn't be the perfect choice since he wants to explore the world."

Now the problem i have should be solved, i really make a list of goal but maybe Sou still understand what i have in my mind and make a list for me. So the list of goals are exploring the world with Tomoe, drive WORLD from this dimension, find my true memories and finally find out if i am truly a god. I mean a spirit is not really a god but whatever he says is his way of saying that. 

"So how far did you progress when i was out with Alria."

"I think i formed a better bond with my god, so how was you and Tomoe ?"

"I think we made some improvements. Nothing too great but some improvements is good enough, now we have a target so this time i think i want to finish the goal list."

So here goes, our trip to the East, we made to the port again, it should took us about five days on the sea but that is not a great problem because most of us don't have seasickness. Most of us not all of us, Flour doesn't have a good time, it seem like even my song can't help him with that, but even Flour is tired he still strokes our head and appreciate our effort. Even Tomoe is a god and i am his commander but he still treats us like children, nothing changed.

"A night like that night, do you remember Tomoe, we performed in a night like this, a starry night with blue moon on the sky. We performed on the the surface of that lake."

"I do remember that, that is the memories i wanted to find, our performance under the moonlight... How about we do that now, maybe we can remember something."

"That's a great idea."

Our performance started, the surface of the ship became the illusion that Haku once created, the lake reflect the moon and that star. Everyone gatherd on the board to see our performance, my song and Tomoe's performance, water splash reflect the starlight, countless wave created from the melody that Harmony create. Maybe it is the truth that our we are those who represent for water but that is not the most important thing right now, our performance is the only thing that matter. Tomoe's movement soon match the part in our memories and the moment look around i saw everyone in the spirit realm. The song i am playing match with the one inside my memories, sadness and sorrow for our sepration, anger for those who did this to us and joy when we found each other again.

"No ! This is too soon for both of you to perform that song."

Moeru and Chikyu appear on the board, their face is gentle kindness yet strict like parents to us. They both give us the same answer that water can flow freely and same with that song, the song that act as one of the keys to open the gate to the spirit realm. It is too soon and with the current state of the spirit world we shouldn't waste the one and only chance for the spirit world to open and reinforce us. The spirit and Orlios, both of them we can feel they are preparing something but not to face against WORLD, something far more dangerous and it is preparing to take over everything. They want to make sure that our world is safe from the incoming storm.
