PARKER “Why are you so nervous?” asked Axel. I was wearing the coat he had gotten me last year so I was pretty warm. We stood at the gazebo where I had first transformed with my alphas and friends by my side. Axel was holding me from behind and Aaron held my hand. “Yeah, you’re jittery and I know you’re not cold, baby,” said Aaron. “I’m about to show my wolf to Alpha and his circle,” I said nervously. “What, you think he’ll be disappointed?” laughed Andrew. “He won’t. Maybe shocked. Besides, everyone’s seen your wolf but Dad and Beta Derek and Beta Shelly.” “And me!” said Charlotte. Her beautiful brown skin was practically glowing after last night’s adventure with her mate. “I got there too late and you were back to human by then.” “He’s incredible, you’ll see,” said Allen squeezing her. He began to take off his shirt and pants. He nodded at Derek and Derek followed suit. “Um, what are you two doing?” I asked. “Extra protection,” Derek answered. “We’ll be about 25 feet out in case anything happens.” “Derek, my guards are already out there,” I huffed. “If you’d rather us stay close Luna Alpha, we’ll circle the perimeter of the gazebo, “ said Allen. They both bowed to me. Derek had taken his job way more seriously since he’d gotten a second Beta but since they’d been named by Alpha they were even more serious. It was great to see them so in sync. I couldn’t help but smile at them. “Yes, Betas, I’d like to keep you with me,” I said. They nodded and took off their underwear, transforming immediately into their wolves. Charlotte hugged Allen’s head and patted him before he began pacing behind the gazebo at a short distance. Derek stayed near the front at an arm’s length. Lucian had his arm around Mandy but I knew he had something else planned if anything came for me. I felt completely safe surrounded by my family. No one would dare come after me surrounded by 4 guards, 3 Alphas, and my entire circle. We saw Alpha Anton and Luna Palonia walking toward us with their guards and circle. This was it. Axel let go of me and I stood in front of Alpha Anton when he stopped. I bowed my head to him and he did the same. “Luna,” I bowed to my Luna and she did the same to me, nearly bouncing on her feet with happiness. “Whenever you’re ready Luna Alpha,” Alpha Anton said. I blew out a hard breath. I handed my coat to Axel. I handed the rest of my clothes to Mandy except my underwear. I would transform while still in it. Here goes nothing guys. – Me, talking to my entire circle I projected my thoughts to everyone to see if it would work. To my surprise everyone in my circle looked at me with eyes wide, especially when they realized I said it to everyone. They had heard me. Even Derek patted his paws on the ground and let out a low whine. Allen did nothing but keep pacing but I know he heard me. I grinned. I transformed quickly into my wolf. Sai was tall and strong, larger than any other wolf but an Alpha. Alpha Anton stood back and observed me while I presented. I bowed to my Alpha, low to the ground. “You may rise Luna Alpha,” Alpha Anton said. My Alphas stood near me, ready to defend me at a moment’s notice. They watched their father as he circled me, waiting for any negative remarks so they could pounce. “Beautiful,” Alpha Anton said. My heart soared and Sai howled lowly. His Alpha had complimented him. Axel pet me. “You are a fine wolf Sai,” Alpha continued. “You are tall, strong, and special, a white wolf. The moon Goddess has blessed this pack with your presence. You and your counter part, Parker Campbell.” Sai puffed up his chest and stood as stately as he could. Show off. – me Because I’m awesome my little pumpernickel. – Sai Alpha Anton began to undress. What was happening? When he got down to his boxers, he transformed into his Alpha wolf. He was larger than me and scary. I bowed again to him. Run with me, Sai, the white wolf. – Alpha Anton Alpha Anton took off and so did I. My Betas followed as well as two of my guards who transformed immediately when we got near the woods. They followed closely as I ran beside my Alpha. Tell us if you need us my love. – Axel I will my Axel. – me I began to run so fast that Alpha could not catch me. I grinned in my head as Sai slowed to a trot to let him catch up. Alpha let out a huff, telling me not to be so full of myself. But Sai was having fun. He was finally showing himself to his Alpha and it felt amazing. Alpha began to go back out of the woods and we ended up at the gazebo less than ten minutes after we’d gone in. Alpha was handed shorts when he transformed back and Andrew covered me while I dressed. When I was done, Alpha Anton put a hand on my shoulder. His eyes were that of his wolf’s. “Parker, Sai. Son, Luna Alpha,” he said. This wasn’t just him accepting me as his new Luna but as his family as well. Sai took over for me as I spoke. “Alpha Anton, Kairo. Father. My Alpha.” We both came back to ourselves as cheers went up. The ceremony of presentation had ended and I hadn’t felt so good in front of Alpha Anton ever. My Alphas all hugged me and my circle surrounded me with compliments on my wolf. Derek sat up behind me wagging his tail. Allen stayed in place behind the gazebo, pacing. “Sai is just beautiful!” Charlotte said and then pushed in for a hug. My Alphas scented me just after. Then we turned to see Alpha Anton kneeling. His circle began to get down on one knee as well. “Dad, what are you –“ Axel started. “Moon Goddess,” Alpha Anton said. We all got down immediately as he began his prayer. “Stay standing Luna Alpha,” he whispered so I stood back up. “Thank you for this precious gift you have given to this pack. This Luna Alpha will lead his people well. You have given him strength and courage as any Luna Alpha should have. You have given him wisdom and kindness that all Lunas require. You have given him partners who will protect him. Bless our Luna. When our people look to him may they see hope. May they see honor. May they see love. May they see dignity. We ask that you keep him safe, protected. We ask that you guide him in judgment and in fairness, this is our prayer.” I was in shock. From what I had heard this was the blessing of the Luna. It was only to be done at the induction for all the pack to see. It seems that everyone else was shocked too by the look on their faces as they stood. “Dad, thank you for that,” said Aaron, choked up. “But the Luna blessing is a ceremonial prayer. It’s not done until induction… why here?” “I will do the blessing again at the ceremony,” Dad sighed. “But starting now he’s gonna need all the help from the moon Goddess he can get.”
