*TW: Drug abuse and neglect* Garrett When they all stood in front of the house, he finally paid enough attention to see what a sorry sight it was. The grass in the front yard was past knee high. The house itself looked like it had seen better days and was about to fall apart even in the dim light of the street lights. Dirty windows impaired the view into and out of the house, all except for one on the top floor that sparkled in its cleanliness by the light offered by the street light nearby.
