SAGE POV. I was desperate for an explanation, anything to make sense of what the hell I had witnessed. The scene in the library last night was the strangest, most terrifying thing I’d ever seen. Now, I was trailing after Roman like a wary dog on a too-short leash, wondering why he was dragging me back where it all started. Did the library hold some kind of curse?
