Betrayed love
Chapter 1 – The Beginning of Us
Tosin was the quiet type, the kind of boy who smiled more than he spoke.
When Ada met him at university orientation, she liked how genuine he seemed — not like the others who flirted for fun.
They became inseparable.
He’d walk her to class, buy her snacks, call her every night until she fell asleep.
Everyone said they were the perfect couple.
And for a while, they were.
Ada believed in Tosin’s dreams, and he promised her forever.
But sometimes, forever starts to change without warning.
Chapter 2 – New Faces, New Secrets
When Tosin joined the campus drama club, Ada was happy for him.
That was until a new girl, Zara, entered the picture.
She was bold, beautiful, and confident — the kind of girl who knew the effect she had on people.
At first, Tosin told Ada, “She’s just a friend from rehearsal.”
But Ada began to notice small things: late replies, missed calls, sudden secrecy.
He stopped calling at night. He stopped saying “I love you.”
One evening, she saw a message flash across his phone:
“Can’t wait to see you again tonight ❤️ — Zara.”
Her chest tightened. She wanted to believe there was an explanation — but deep down, she already knew.
Chapter 3 – The Betrayal
The truth came on a rainy Friday night.
Ada followed Tosin to a café near campus — a place they once called “their spot.”
Through the window, she saw him laughing with Zara, holding her hand across the table.
Her world shattered quietly.
She didn’t rush in or shout. She just stood there in the rain, watching the boy who once promised her forever kiss someone else.
That night, she cried until her pillow was soaked.
When Tosin called later pretending everything was normal, she simply said,
“Don’t bother explaining. I saw everything.”
Chapter 4 – Guilt and Regret
Days turned into weeks, and guilt started eating Tosin alive.
Zara was fun, but she wasn’t Ada.
He missed Ada’s warmth, her laughter, the way she believed in him when no one else did.
He tried to apologize, but Ada wouldn’t pick his calls.
He wrote long texts that stayed unread.
For the first time, Tosin understood what it meant to lose something real because of something temporary.
He saw Ada once at the library. Their eyes met, but she looked away.
He wanted to beg, but his words got stuck — because deep down, he knew he didn’t deserve her forgiveness.
Chapter 5 – Moving On
Months later, Ada had changed.
She no longer cried at night or replayed old memories.
She had found herself again — stronger, wiser, and less trusting, but more aware of her worth.
Tosin watched her from a distance, still carrying the weight of what he lost.
He had betrayed her love, and in doing so, betrayed himself.
Ada smiled one day when she walked past him.
It wasn’t forgiveness — it was peace.
She had finally moved on.
And Tosin finally understood that some betrayals can never be undone.
