Severin I sat on my motorbike, which was tucked between two large oak trees. I waited outside Iris’s house for over an hour. I had to face it. She wasn’t coming out. I just had to tell Briar Iris didn’t want to talk. Then I realised she would ask me if I had knocked on the door. “Let’s get this over with,” I grumbled as I climbed off the bike.
