3003 Words
Everybody woke up the next morning, and her mother already annoyed that her daughter wasn't up yet doing the cooking and chores heads up to the attack, "Wake up you lazy slut," her mother growling and pounding on the door.  There of course was no reply and her mothers mood gets worse and slams the door open "I said wake up you lazy b***h," as she walked in and noticing that her daughter wasn't there.  Looking around the room and taking notice clothes were missing and she sees two letters on the make shift desk.  One addressed to her and the rest of the pack and one addressed to her oldest son Jacob.  She snatches the letters opening the one to the pack and the family.           Dear mom and the rest of the pack,                 I know you all hate me because you think I killed my little brother.  To no avail did you guys ever  believe me on what happened so I took it upon my will to leave.  I cannot and will not take the abuse that you all have endured on me.  I hope this will make you happy that you do not care for me anymore.  Don't try and find me, because even if you do you will not find me and I will not return back to this horrible pack.                Mother and father, I cannot believe that you of all people who are supposed to love and support me would treat your own flesh and blood the way you have.  I feel that you have even hated me before what happened to Sebastian, because if you didn't hate me then you would believe that I did no such thing.  I am not a liar and never will.  I decided before something bad happened to me from you or the rest of the pack that it was in my best interest to leave, and if we meet again you will see the biggest change in me and I will be stronger and better off than any of you.                                                                                                                   Sincerely                                                                                                                    Your so called daughter.      Jess sits on the bed surprised, but not just that emotion came about in her so did remorse, regret, and shame.  She sit on the bed crying, "What did I do I lost another child, but it was my fault I am such a horrible mother," she thought to herself.  She finally snapped out of her emotions and crumbled the letter she just red and changed her demeanor back and walks back down to the kitchen still nobody down for breakfast as it is Saturday and no school.  She starts cooking breakfast for herself and everybody in the family, when her son Jacob walks in the kitchen to see.      "Where is Allison?"  Jacob looks around now wide awake searching for his sister.      "She is no longer here and there is a letter for you from her to you written separately from everybody else,"  She replied with a sad and bitter tone in her and handing the letter to Jacob.  Just then Josh walks in the kitchen with a smile, but soon dispersed with the sight of his mom cooking dinner.  His mood soon turns angrily.      "Where is that good for nothing sister of mine,"  He growls.      Jacob looks up angrily and slams Josh into the wall, "OUR SISTER HAS LEFT US BECAUSE OF EVERYTHING THIS STUPID PACK AND EVERYBODY IN THIS FAMILY HAS DONE TO HER."  Still angry and hurt he turns to his mother and his mate Jaime walks in and sees what is going on immediately goes by Jacob to calm him down seeing she is the only one that can at this point.  "I was of no help either," Jacob continues calming down of course, " and I am ashamed of myself and will take it upon myself to find her."      "Why?" Josh asks, "its not like she was worth anything."      "I can't believe you Josh she is your sister and none of you have believed she didn't do anything or what she has told," Jacob slamming his fist down on the table, "I should have said something sooner, but I believe her and never stopped,  I am ashamed not of myself but this whole family except of course Jaime, she was never apart of all this."  Jacob leans in to Jaime to get a smell of her scent before he went completely ballistic, "and if you were any kind of brother you will help find her."      "She said not to go looking for her that we won't find her,"  his mother interrupted, "and I for one will abide by her wishes and let her go for its not the fault of anybody, but me."  Jacob looks at her surprised at what is mom had said, but not just surprise but appalled at her.  "When the time is right and we do find her we all will apologize to her and make things right, but until that time we will let her get some peace with everything and maybe she will forgive us for everything."  As that was said her husband the beta of the pack walks in and looks at everybody in distaste.      "I heard everything and I agree with your mother, but I will look also and make sure she is okay I will also get Alpha Don to help with the search,"  Jeremy, her husband and beta said, "I have already talked to the Alpha in mind link and there meeting at our meeting grounds."      Mind link, "Meeting grounds everybody now,"  Alpha Don announces with an alpha tone meaning business, "nobody is to miss."  As that was said everybody replies back through mind link, "Yes Alpha!"      After everybody has finished breakfast they all headed to the clearing in front of the pack house.  Mumbling of what is going on could be heard from the whole pack as they gather around the make shift stage in front.  Soon as everybody has gathered the doors to the pack house open and Alpha Don and the soon to be Alpha Gregg walks up to the stage.  Alpha Don taking their position on the stage and his son Gregg standing to the right of him.      "I have just been informed that one of our pack members have left our pack,"  Alpha Don started and started to hear murmurs through the crowd and immediately quiets them to continue, "she is the betas daughter Allison and she is only 16.  I have been informed of why she has left and I am ashamed of everybody from this pack that treated her the way they have,"  the Alpha and then turns to his son with disappointing look in his eyes to show he meant him also.  "We are already looking for her so we can make sure she is safe, and when we do find her everybody will apologize to her for everything that they have done and make it right as much as we can."  Alpha Don starts to leave and then turns back,  "I would like the beta family and my son to join me in my office for a meeting."  Then walks away.      Nobody moved for what seemed like hours, but was only five minutes.  Once everybody starts moving they looked at the beta family with sorrow in their eyes and looked away so they couldn't show the other feelings they had.  Savannah speaks out as she walks past, "finally the wretch is gone."  Jacob steps in front of her his eyes pitch black in anger.      "Bite your tongue young lady for you are as guilty as the rest of us," Jacob's voice booming with anger, "if not worse."  Savannah scurries away her head hung down, but not feeling any remorse of Allison leaving, instead she had a smirk on her face.       The beta family makes their way to the pack house and to the Alpha's office, his son already there and the his Luna Lucy by his side.  "Please sit,"  Alpha Don starts, "I am amazed you would all treat your daughter the way you have I understand that you had a heart break from losing your youngest son, but you shouldn't have taken it out on her."      The Beta family all hung their heads down ashamed as well, "We now regret what we did and letting our hurt do more damage to our family,"  they all said in unison, "we will do what it takes to make things right."      "Gregg my son were you a part of her treatment as well?"  Alpha Don turning to his son looking at him.      "N-No....." Gregg starts to be interrupted.      "Yes he is also one of them that treated her poorly and sometimes worse," Jacob glares at Gregg annoyed that he was going to lie to his father, "the things I heard him say were the worst of them all."      Alpha Don looks at his son to see him starting to hang his head in shame for both how he treated Allison and trying to lie to his father.  "I see," Alpha Don looking disappointed and angry for the lack of respect from his son, "well I am should have seen what was going on around the pack, but of course I was blind because I couldn't imagine my pack being this way, but I am completely ashamed of you Gregg because for one you could have stopped it and two you tried to lie your way out.  Until you understand what it means to be an Alpha I am holding passing the job to you and you will get more training so you can understand and as for young Josh here being the next beta the same will happen your father will remain beta until I see that both of you have the understanding of being in the roles."      "Yes alpha they," they both said in unison.      "And further more you two will be the ones to search her out and make sure she is safe from harm,"  Alpha Don continued.  Lucy standing by her mates side agreed with the solution.  "I know your birthdays are coming at the end of the month, and you will find your mates goddess willing, but you will go searching for Allison right after and Jacob you will accompany them to make sure that they are respectful to other packs.  I see in your eyes that you were not apart of this and I feel that with your experience as a warrior you can protect my son as well."      "Yes Alpha Don," Jacob bowing his head to him, "I will not let you down sir."  He then glares at both is younger brother and Gregg, but knew that there was no choice.      "Good everything arranged and I will make sure that the Alphas of the other pack are informed of you guys coming some time during the summer," after all is said and don the Alpha dismisses everybody and grabs Lucy's waist and pulls her into his laugh.  As the door closed they heard their Luna giggling and cooing at him.  They all scurried off.      Jacob and his mother and father took leave while Josh hung back with Gregg.  "I can't believe that we have to go look for her,"  Josh started.      "I know, but he is right about what he said,"  Gregg chimed in with shame coming out in his words.      "You feel the same way that she is useless and worthless right?"  Josh turns to look at his friend.      "I don't know I do feel guilty about the way we treated her," Gregg replies.  All of a sudden he heard a giggle coming in and sees Savannah come around the corner.  She walks up and starts cooing to Gregg wrapping her arms around his waist.      "Do you want to go to the lake Gregg,"  she asks all flirty towards Gregg.      "I can't right now I got things I need to take care of Savannah,"  Gregg takes her arms off of him, "I won't be able to go for a while."      "But Greggy,"  Savannah starts pouting, "I really want to go."      "Can't Josh and I have to start figuring out where to look for Allison," Gregg replied coldly.      "Your going to go looking for that tramp,"  Savannah starts yelling, "we don't need her!"      "You are just as bad as the rest of us if not worse Savannah,"   Gregg raising his voice a little, "and yes we are and we leave at the end of the month so we have to start preparing."  Gregg starts walking away pulling Josh along with him.  "Josh we need to train to protect ourselves we can count on Jacob to protect us, but we also need to make sure we can defend ourselves as well."      "I agree,"  Josh replies back while being dragged along, "Jacob should be at the training grounds now."  Both Josh and Gregg starts heading to the training ground and there was Jacob practicing some moves with the dummies that were set up.      "Jacob," Gregg says as they walk up, "I know that you don't want anything to do with us right now, but I feel that you should start training us that way we can defend ourselves against any trouble just in case."      "I agree," Jacob stops and turns to face Gregg and his brother, "extra practice will be good for everybody, even though you can handle yourself you don't know what lies beyond."      "Lets say we start training in the morning at first light," Gregg suggests and Josh nodding in agreement, "start fresh and we have all day to train."       "First light it is meet me here at six and I will not take it easy on you guys,"  Jacob agrees and turns back to the dummy he was sparing with.  Showing that he wanted to be left alone to let his anger and frustrations out.  Taking the hint both Josh and Gregg walks off to go walking around the pack territory.       Josh and Gregg continue talking starting to come up with a plan of where to search for Allison.  Of course since they treated Allison so poorly they didn't know if she was dead or alive or what has happened to her, plus they didn't have any clue on where to start looking for her.  They didn't know what she liked or what would attract her to a place, and when they realized that it was starting to get dark and they were starting to get really hungry they headed back to the pack house.  They walked through the front doors and Gregg got the wind knocked out of him as Savannah ran up and jumped on him.      "Get off me woman,"  Gregg hollers pushing Savannah off, "this is not the time."      "You know you want this Greggy," Savannah coos and goes to start kissing him,  "I know I like this."      "Savannah get off,"  Gregg says more harshly, "I am for one hungry and two I don't want a make out session right now I have things I need to take care of."      "But Greggy," Savannah pouts but reluctantly gets up so he could get up and tails right behind him to the kitchen.      Josh is already rummaging through the fridge for a snack before dinner is set out.   Alpha Don has found other people to cook dinner for the pack.  Josh couldn't find anything in the fridge he wanted him and Gregg started eyeing some of dinner and goes to grab a tart to get their hands smacked by a wooden spoon.  "Dinner is almost done please gentleman control yourselves,"  the cook started with a laugh.      Both of them blushing at this headed back out to the living room both sitting on chairs around the coffee table started talking more of their plan.  Savannah goes to sit on Gregg's lap only to get pushed off, "I told you Savannah I have business to discuss with Josh and you are not apart of, and I don't have time,"  Gregg said annoyingly.      Savannah storms off in a huff, which made both boys laugh a little, but then they continued with a plan until they heard dinner was served and rushed to the pack table.  Josh sits next to his father and Gregg his mother on the other side of his father, Jacob on the other side of her with his mate across from him.  The current Alpha sitting next to Gregg and Lucy their Luna on his side.  "I noticed you guys have been talking,"  Alpha Don started with Gregg and Josh, "I hope you are taking this mission seriously."      "Yes father, both Josh and I have been brainstorming of what needs to be done, and where to start looking for Allison.  A scoff is heard from a small distance and Gregg turns to see Savannah scowling as she is eating.  Paying no mind to Savannah he turns back to his father, "we are just trying to figure out where she might go and look there first, plus we have decided to get extra training with Jacob so that way we can make sure we can defend ourselves as well."      "Good plan young man I am impressed that you are taking this seriously,"  Alpha Don stated, "You will also attend meetings with other packs along with me that way you can see how an Alpha is to act oh and Josh too."      "Yes father," Gregg said.      "Yes Alpha," Josh replied right after.      Finally dinner is done and everybody went to their rooms to get sleep.  Josh and Gregg needed to be up early for training so they made sure it was an early night for them.  Gregg just got to sleep when his alarm went off.  Still tired for the lack of sleep because he was awake all night in his thoughts regretting his actions towards Allison.  He gets up begrugingly and heads to his ajoining bathroom to start his morning routine.      Both Josh and Gregg get to the training ground to see Jacob already there practicing on dummies.
