As I opened my eyes, I remembered everything that had happened, the pain running through my body was enough of a reminder. But that wasn’t the only thing, I could hear the strangest of sounds, liquid rushing, birds chirping that sounded like they were right in my ear. There was an overwhelming rush of sounds assaulting my ears, and the smells were no better. Shaking my head, I tried to rid myself of these intense sounds and smells, but couldn’t.
