Friday and Eustas will get the fruits again from his friend.
"I wanna go with you! I wanna see the fruit tree, Eustas," she said. Holding his arms to stop him, pouting her lips just to please him.
"Na-ah, I will be back. I'll make it fast, I promise," he answered and slowly taking off her grip.
"But, I wanna be with you."
"Just sit with your paintings, please. I'll be back in an hour. I love you," he said sweetly while with his soft face and kissed her from her soft lips, rosy cheeks, pointed nose, and lastly, forehead.
"Eustas,"
"Na-ah, I'll be back, you will just get tired of walking," she loosens her grip and pouted more her lips. Eustas can not bring her because she will her friend, she might know that the fruits are from their kingdom not in this forest.
She doesn't have a choice but to wave her hand from side to side seeing him walking away.
"Bye, take care!" she shouted. Eustas pursed his lips into a smile and give her a flying kiss and wave his hand back and forth.
Helliana's shoulders fell and step her foot slowly towards the tent. She gets inside and closes it, the thing is...it makes her afraid whenever she is alone and Eustas is leaving to find fruits again. The bad people might get where was for the past few weeks.
"Arrghhh...I should have stopped him, he should let me go with him," she said and groaned, "Why I can't be with him? Is he seeing someone?"
She shook her head, "Na-ah! He will never do that. He loves me." She told herself with confidence but her mind is still thinking differently, overthinking again. She deeply sighed and rolls over with the blanket and shout, "Aaahh...I am missing you right now! Oh my gosh!" she shouted and sits like lumpia because her body is covered by the blanket.
"How can I let him go when the time comes? If--if I am being like this right now!" she said and rolled again to get out. She looked at the tent ceiling and made a face. She can't get over it, "s**t! I'm doomed."
While Helliana is in frustration, on the other side Eustas her mate is in hurry to get the fruits for them. In the middle of his running, he rests for a while by walking.
"Did you see her?"
"No, I didn't. I think she is already in their kingdom."
"I don't think so. Madam said that she is not still there."
He climbed the huge tree fast and hide behind in its leave when he heard that someone is coming.
"Where do you think she goes then? Oh my gosh! I think we already killed her, Sang!"
His forehead creased when he saw the two-man covered with a huge jacket and cap, the other one is chubby and looks young.
"We didn't saw her body, we are not sure of that," he answered seriously.
They stopped below the tree where Eustas is hiding.
"Wait, do see someone? I feel someone is staring at us." He commented and roam his eyes but he only sees trees.
"No, you are just thinking too much. Let's go, we should be in the river's end to look for her body," the chubby one said.
He remained silent above the tree waiting for them to walk away. He nibbled his lips when he noticed that he is stuck inside because of them. Helliana will wait for him.
"I can feel his stare, stop."
He closes his eyes, "What ability he has? Why can he felt my stare? Damn it!" he asked himself in his mind.
"Let's go. We can't waste time here."
He let out a deep breath, finally. When he did not hear anything. He jumps down.
"Why are they so slow? I have things to do. My baby will get mad at me for sure," he whispered, looking at the way they go.
He stepped forward to walk but something made him stopped. His eyes went wide and his forehead creased.
"Looks who is here, Sung!" he exclaimed, "Do you think I didn't see you?" he smirked pointing his gun on Eustas.
Eustas faced them and fake his smile, "I am sorry but I really need to go. I thought you were bad people so I hide up there." He scratches his head while being irritated.
"So, do you think we are not?" he asked and his laugh echoed in the forest. The birds fly in panics.
"No, I think not. I am only looking for a wood to bring in our house." He lied to get rid of them, "I'll go now." He stepped back to walk when Sang shouted.
"Move and this bullet will be rooted in your brain." He smiled wide and pointed more the gun.
Eustas smiled playfully, "What do you want from me? Can't you see I have to things for my family? Who are you by the way?" he asked and stopping himself to be angry. He needed to go now because his friend is waiting for him. His head moves from side to side.
"We? We are the killers!" the chubby one answered.
Sang hit him, "You i***t! Why did you answer him? What if he will tell the government?" he shouted.
"I'm sorry, he asked so I answered him."
"Set aside innocent people. Can I go now? So you can tell him his fault?" asked him. The chubby one looks like he is innocent but he is now covered by darkness, his heart.
"No, not yet."
His eyebrows pulled down together as he glared at him, he purses his lips together tightly. He started to feel the heat from inside his head. After a second, he ran towards them and kicked them both.
"Arggh!"
"Ah!"
He clenched his hands into balls and gave them a hard punch in their faces.
"I told you that I have to go but you didn't listen asshole! Don't ever try me!" he shouted gritted his teeth, his punch move from Sung and his partner.
They groaned in pain as they covered their faces not to hit by his strong fist.
"Stop! Stop please!" the chubby one pleaded and kneel down. Good thing Eustas didn't break their faces.
Sang pointed a gun at him and ready to pull the trigger, "Touch him and I will kill you in just one bullet," he said while still holding his stomach that was kicked by Eustas.
"Then shoot me! You are wasting my time! I don't want to hurt the both of you but you did push me to my limits." His face hardened as looked at the shotgun's peak where the bullet comes out.
"Sang, stop it! We are here for her not to him, we should go now." Sung said with his scared voice. He didn't want to enter his life.
"Who are you looking for? Maybe you can give me an idea."
Sung was about to tell him when Sang covered his mouth, "Don't ever tell him, Sung. He can not be trusted, right..." He groaned, his face is totally become red because of Eustas fist.
"Please, let us go." He pleaded while crossing his arms, shutting his eyes but Eustas crossed his arms and glared at Sang.
"How about him?" referring to Sang that is just holding his gun.
"Sang! We need to be away from him." He pulled Sang's jacket to stand beside him.
Sang rolled his eyes and he pointed the gun again.
Eustas smiled at him.
He doesn't have a choice but to put it down.
They pleaded even it is not from the heart. In the end, Eustas break the gun into two pieces using his arms that make their eyes wide open and jaw drops.
"What did you do to my gun?!"
Eustas did not answer him but instead, he hanged him to the tree together with Sung.
"That's your penalty." He clapped his hands at looked at the sky, "The night is coming, I hope there is no monster here." He smiled and walk away.
He pretends not to hear the both of them shouting at him to let them go.
Sung is afraid of the monster, so he just closes his eyes.
