SEVEN YEARS LATER..
Audrey was now an established woman, with her life seemingly perfect. Staring down at her wristwatch she sighed, smiling to herself: She was now a medical doctor! A certified pediatrician.
“Mum.. this is for you.” She muttered to herself, wiping away a happy tear.
The party was already lively by the time Audrey arrived her heart swelling with gratitude as she saw Aunt Sarah beaming with pride ready to celebrate Audrey’s progress from medical school.
The room was strung with colorful lights casting a warm golden glow over her friends and family whose laughter and joy echoed around the space. Tonight felt like a dream one Audrey didn’t want to wake up from.
“Look at you my little doctor-to-be!” Aunt Sarah said with a wide grin pulling Audrey into a warm
