WRITER’S POV The fluorescent lights hummed softly as Audrey finished her shift the quiet hum a stark contrast to the bustling hospital halls she’d walked through all day. Phew! Today marked it a week since her party. The end of the week actually. Audrey couldn’t stop thinking of how cinematically her life was. She slipped her ID badge into her bag rolling her shoulders to relieve some of the tension that had built up through the evening. As she finally reached the glass doors of the hospital a familiar figure in the dimness caught her eye. “Audrey” came the voice she hadn’t expected to hear. It was Matthew.
