The Unlikely Of Friends

This story begins shortly after I moved into a house with my fiancé Lewis. My name is Poppy, I am tall, skinny, I have long loosely curled blonde hair and blue eyes and I am also a vampire hybrid. A vampire hybrid means my DNA is only part vampire the rest of my DNA can be anything, in my case the rest of my DNA is human and thanks to a relative quite a far bit back in my Mum's family tree I am part witch too. I am drop dead gorgeous it is so bad I get envied by even the prettiest girls in the night world well they are in my eyes. Before you wonder where the night world is, the night world isn't a place. It is all around us. It is a secret society of vampires, werewolves, witches and other creatures of darkness that live among us. There is laws that all night world creatures have to live by, these laws say it is OK to hunt humans. It is ok to toy with their hearts, it is even ok to fall in love with them. There is only one thing you can't do with them, you can never let them know the night world exists. I know what your thinking 'are you not risking your fiancé finding out' well the answer is yes because he is human and if he found out and believed it and started looking for evidence that we would both be killed due to an outsider knowing. I also know that he is far too gullible to believe that even in the slightest i am always saying things about vampires and other various creatures of the night world without thinking and he always just says "haha, that is a good one darling' I know about the night world because my Mother Layla had to home schooled me due to the fact I grew up too fast to go to a normal human school, you see I am the first of my kind and Mother wasn't even sure how long I will live for. (She would soon learn she was wrong and was worrying about nothing) I spend my life growing up with it just me and my Mother. You see I am a hybrid because my Mother is a vampire that is also part witch that only learnt about the witch in the family a few years back and my Father Matthew is completely 100% human, Father left Mother before he knew Mother was pregnant so he doesn't even know I exist or that the night world exist, at least he is safe though, I used to watch over him from time to time with my mother but now I'm old enough and I don't see my Mother as much anymore I have to watch over him my self although I haven't in years. Plus if anyone sees me and ask questions we just say I was a child she was fostering for a while and because I'm part witch I can a spell to change my life but it only appears that way to humans.
