I was warming up on the field with the girls soccer team. There was no sign of the boys.
I had to admit, the team were intimidating. Every girl was significantly taller than me. They were good too. I knew I would have to really show them what I could do if I was to find a spot in the team dynamics.
I was sitting on the grass, stretching, when a few of the girls walked past.
"I bet she's just on the team because she is Flynns's new play thing." One of the girls muttered loud enough for me to hear.
"I don't know, she doesn't seem like that..." Another replied.
"Come on, Lola! If Flynn is interested, she must be at least putting out. Look at her!" The first girl stated, I could feel their eyes burning into me.
I glanced at Monica and she shrugged her shoulders apologetically
