My mind was reeling from last night's meeting with Emma. I wanted to ask Lilah about everything that Emma had said, but didn't know the right way to approach it or when was the appropriate time to even mention it.
I was walking to the senior girls vs senior boys soccer scratch match with Jake. He was rambling about what his plans were for the Full Moon party this weekend and whether he should take a date.
"Are you going to take one?" Jake asked.
"A what?" I responded, not really listening to begin with.
"A date to the Full Moon party on Satruday?" He explained again.
"Oh, na I don't think so..." I replied. How could I ask Lilah and not tip off my Dad that I may have found my mate? I have never taken a date to a pack event before. It would definitely mean something if I did.
