Two Worlds

Chapter 4

"THIS IS NOT REAL! THIS IS NOT HAPPENING TO ME!" I yelled throwing another plate, passionately trying to make sure all these flying objects will land bulls eye right at Yi-ge's face. "Calm down Jess! Its ju--- WAAHHH!"

"BU#%$&!!!" I threw another plate, smashing it on the wall right close to a terrified Han-oppa "HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?! BEST FRIENDS MY ASS!"

"You have no choice! Take it or leave--- AACK!" Hun-oppa looked so pale as if he lost 10 years of his life when a butcher's knife was thrown and embedded on the wall quite dangerously close to hitting his face "ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME?!"

"I AM! RIGHT NOW!" And another round of kitchen objects went flying towards the young men Yi-ge called as friends.

"She's a tiger" Jong-oppa complimented after teleporting to a different space to escape from getting hit "Just like what I've investigated about her"

"She's perfect" Lu-oppa chuckled beside Zi-ge after taking a peaceful sip of their rhum on the counter top. The objects seemed to be floating around them as if an invisible wall is surrounding the two males.

Flashback...

"Welcome back, Min-hyung!" Dae-oppa smiled as if the freezing cold and the heavy atmosphere didn't bother him.

The man, Xi Min I believe, didn't answer and took a sip of his whiskey, ignoring his brother. He looked down on me and I felt my breath hitched. I'm trapped and I feel so helpless from his gaze and I couldn't do a thing. I tried to break free by staring challengingly back at him. I told myself that I shouldn't let anyone step down on me no matter who they are. I felt like I couldn't breathe just by his stare alone and it felt colder and colder as if I'm being frozen to death but I kept my ground. I will never back down no matter what--- "YOU'RE SO CUTE!" I snapped out of my thoughts when Han-oppa gave me a bear hug. Suddenly, It feels warmer compared to the freezing temperature from earlier.

"How was the hunt?" Yun-ge stood infront of me, blocking out my view from this man named Min. He looks calm as if everything doesn't affect him "Did Lu-ge made a mess again?"

The man smirked and said "He ripped the poor guy's head off" and suddenly, Yi-ge's already beside me. He looks concerned and even if Hun-oppa doesn't show it, I know he does just by judging his hand on my shoulder. Jong-oppa is holding his glass tightly and Zi-ge looks cautious and ready just in case a fight would break out. "Guys! We're here to have fun, remember?" Jun-oppa reasoned out. Min, just shrugged. It seems like he get along with his brothers but I'm not sure with the rest. Everyone looks like they respect him yet they don't want to get into a fight with him. Well, except Yun-oppa.

For what I've heard, Yun-oppa is a childhood friend of the Xi-brothers. His name is Liu Yun and he's proficient in Martial Arts. He won several competitions since he was young and he owns his own fashion line industry in Paris. No wonder why he's not afraid to get into a fight with Min-oppa. Then here's that Lu-ge that Yun-oppa mentioned. According to Hun-oppa, Lu Xiao grew up in South Korea. He's a businessman like Jun-oppa. But that's it. All I know is that I shouldn't get into his bad side if I want to live. And judging from what Min-oppa said earlier and the way people act towards them, I could tell that these two are bad news. How could Jun-oppa, Dae-oppa, and Jong-oppa relate to someone like him?!

"Have you cleaned the area, Yu?" I jumped and looked around to see a man drinking by the corner. I almost didn't notice him. He looks so peaceful and innocent just like in the magazines. His name is Han Yu and I've read about him. For what I've known, he's a Pathologist and a famous Scientist. He contributed so many works in the field of Science and Technology. Not just that, he's a great singer and an awesome chef. I've seen him in various television shows as well. So to think that he's a companion of Xi Min is really mindblowing. Not to mention, I haven't met what kind of person this Lu Xiao really is.

I was walking down the road to my apartment, thinking about my encounter with Yi-ge's friends. I couldn't believe Yi-ge's--- "Associated with people like us? I think so too" I jumped and look around but there's no one there. It's almost past midnight and its very quiet. There are no people and everyone's asleep. I turned to a shortcut lane. After the party, I told Yi-ge that I'll go home by own. I don't want to burden him so I grabbed a cab. However, the tires suddenly burst and the engine died in the middle of the ride so I was forced to walk back home. It's a bit close and there's no more cab around so I decided to walk.

It's dark and its night. I could hear footsteps behind me. But when I turn around, there's no one around. I shrugged it off and continued walking until the footsteps following me continued once again. I feel like the air is getting colder and it starts to get more suffocating. I felt my heart pump louder and louder my first instinct was to run as fast as I can. I kept running and suddenly took a different route away from my apartment. The last thing I want is to get whoever that person is or anyone stalking and/or following me straight right to my real home. Even Yi-ge doesn't know where I really live for the past two years. The lane's exit is twice further from the shortcut lane I took earlier so I had to run faster. I was glad I changed into my sneakers after the party and have Yi-ge keep the pair of heels in his car.

I turned around the corner to stop and catch my breath. I had my back on the wall and wary. I reached beneath my dress to get my hidden butterfly knifes attached on a holster around my leg. It's better to be ready just in case things like this happen. I opened it ready and peeked by the end of the wall to see who was following me. "He's not there" I felt my breath hitched and slowly, I turned around to see a man around Yi-ge's height came into view. I almost screamed but I decided not to and had my knife ready right in front of me. "This is dangerous" I told myself slowly backing away from the man. His eyes are glowing red and I knew right then that I'm not dealing with a mere human being anymore.

"I'd rather give up if I were you..." I jumped and quickly swang my knife in reflex. It's not my fault anymore if I cut any living being for this. However, I was surprised when the person who whispered behind me suddenly went missing in the blink of an eye together with my knife. "It's dangerous for a lady to swing a knife so recklessly," he said and I felt a shiver down my spine when I saw the same red eyes the other man has. I turned around, screaming internally when I suddenly started running away from these two creatures. However, during my short run, I saw two men by the corner. One of them had his back on the wall while the other one is sitting on a balustrade. But what caught my attention are their glowing red eyes like the other two creatures earlier.

BOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

I jumped at the sound of thunder. It was very sunny earlier, how could there be a storm at this time? I looked up and it suddenly went raining. However, when I looked back down, the two are already gone. "Scared?" and that's it. I swang my leg up in a roundhouse kick since I don't have my knife anymore. He blocked it easily and the two of us emerged in a fight. I could tell that he's really good at martial arts. Lucky, I got a silhouette of his figure and got a good hit by the jaw. He seems pissed off I kicked me by the stomach. His strength sent me flying and had my back hit the wall. My vision swam and this dude's really strong. Not to mention that t's very dark so I had to adjust my sight. I'm clearly at a disadvantage.

"It's unfair to fight an opponent at your advantage especially when its a girl" there's suddenly light and I was shocked to see Yun-oppa. We reached a construction site and I was flabbergasted to see him... with... are those fireflies? or literally specs of light floating around the area? But my question is, why is he here in this kind of place? I looked back at my attacker and was shocked to see Zi-ge. I was about to ask them something when huge metal pipes fell right down on me. I had my eyes shut tight, waiting for anything and... nothing... I felt nothing. I slowly opened my eyes and was shocked to see the pipes floating on midair. "Don't just stand there" Zi-ge's voice brought me back to reality "Get out!" I quickly complied and with a snap of a finger, all the pipes fell down on the ground.

"What the..."

"DO YOU THINK THIS ALL FUNNY?!" I screamed my head off and threw a ceramics vase Wu-ge who dodge it smoothly, trying to reason with me. Yu-oppa openned up his palms and the broken pieces of the ceramics vase gathered in his hand and formed the exact same shape it has before. The cracks stick back together and retain back its original form. After it's fixed, Jun-oppa waved his hand and the water flew back inside the vase before they placed it back on the table. As you can see, these men have supernatural powers. I was so pissed off and traumatized when they tried to scare me for fun. But what I was so disappointed is that instead of Yi-ge being honest, he complied with his friend's requests and decided to gang up on me. 

Well if hey think it was funny, well I don't. "I was just doing my job!" Jong-oppa tried to reasoned out, teleporting out of the way to dodge a flying frying pan and then teleported back to the same spot he was. My blood boiled so much after finding out that he had been stalking me for the past two years! The same timeline as when Yi-ge and I became friends! Who knows until where did he stalk me that far?! This is.... AAAAAARRRRGGGGHHHHHH!!!

"Relax, you're lucky Jong-oppa nor I didn't feel hard at the sight of you" alright, I will REALLY kill this spoiled brat arrogant smarty-pants rich kid Hun Li and cut off his limbs! I will throw his body parts in the Han River and make sure that the world will never hear from him again as if he never even exist!

Dae-oppa laughed out loud while I chase Hun-oppa around with a butcher's knife in my hand. His eye glow red while looking at his laptop. The keypads lit green and a hologram appeared on the screen and searched for a certain code until it found my profile. Everything about me is in there except for my family and personal background. "I love technology" he smiled "So secretive and mysterious... interesting..."
