"Who the hell are you?"
Her thought was empty. Like some veil was lifted and she became herself again, lust-free! Or was she?
What a strange event. Naturally, her thoughts were twirling and turning; smothering her with their whispers yet she felt lost and perplexed. It was like this man was lurking inside her mind, like straddling the fence of her privacy. Odd. Really.
"You need to feed now." Vergel felt a sudden flicker of sudden irritation. This human was beyond his expectations either way. When he received a call from his sister telling him to take this human with him and bring her to the lab for a further checkup he didn't ask for any relevant information. He thought maybe this human was just some of his sister's experiment s***h gone bad. To his surprise, this was a very peculiar case. This human was different. Different on so many levels. She was fighting him, fighting his nature.
"What the f**k is your problem? I don't know who the hell you are, and why are you here?" She exclaimed as a sudden recognition dawned on her face. "Oh my God. Are you going to kill me?" Her lips snarled as she surveyed him. If he came here to kill her then, she won't be killed without a fight. Her pupils flared. She hates him already. Yummy-hot or not she won't be killed without a fight.
"What? Wait. No...Enough, I'm here to help you okay? And can you please stop thinking? Your thoughts are giving me a headache." Vergel announced. How could she think a hundred times in a second? It's not like he was complaining or something but this human was fighting his disposition.
Vampyre was born irresistible and they have this scent that made any humans feel like they wanted to be sated and be worshiped by them, which by the way is the opposite. It was just human brains often believe that way, wanted to believe that way, a defense mechanism of the sort; where it was just the vampyre nature to make them feel safe. The reality was different though, humans were never safe with them.
Sheila shakes her head. She mentally pounds it down again and again, but her thoughts will not dislodge themselves.
"Why on earth," she trailed off and her eyes widened. "...what? Darn it! You can hear my thoughts?" Her rational brain was having a hard time reconciling with her common sense. However, her deeply possessive instinct, her primal brain were out of control.
"Yes! So shut up." He scowled. This human would drive him insane. Make him into the monster that he was. But then, he keeps them deep inside, close to his heart where they reside. He wants to get rid of these terrible emotions, but he also wants to keep them tucked deep within.
They stunned and outrage him, still, this human was different, she wasn't entirely a Vampyre moreover she wasn't human either, and not a hybrid. Odd indeed. She was altogether a different species. He was certain that she was, fortunately carrying a unique bloodline of vampyre. A bloodline even an ancient like him had never smelled of. How bizarre. How could she smell so human and vampyre at the same time? He guessed this human doesn't have any idea who she was yet, or maybe she did.
A moment passed, this was the part he had been dreading. He doesn't like the way she was staring at him, the way she was undressing him with her eyes. He could smell the hormonal change in the air. The raw musk of desire waffling off her. A perk of being ancient was his senses were more enhanced than the ordinary vampyre. Unfortunately, the idea of those humans who were undressing him in their minds gives him a shiver.
But this woman in front was entirely unusual, she was fighting it. Fighting the lust on her mind. And it made her all the more interesting. No humans could withstand the call of vampyre lust, especially like him. Ancient! If he wanted to, he could make them worship him with their body, make them give him everything he needed, the compulsive emotions couldn't be ignored by some ordinary humans.
Indeed this woman was a powerful one, he thought. Even her appearance was one of gentle intelligence as if even her wisdom had a feminine quality.
"You need to feed on me." He added. "And make it quick." Something was giving him an unwanted desire and he never felt it for ages. He stopped playing around. A vampyre like him could either be sated by blood or s*x but either way he could have managed without them both but this woman was making it so difficult to retrained himself, to stop himself from plunged his hardened shaft inside her now moist fold, harder and faster. He was on the verge of elongating his fangs, and her heated scent was making it even more difficult.
She looked at him suspiciously as he took her hands and out from the kitchen, he led her to the couch. And leaned toward her and whispered. His arms held her in her place and she winced. They felt like it was a metal bar that could hold her down.
"Now feed, don't make a mess, and be quick." He offered his left arm. He leaned back momentarily, pulling up his black sleeves. His forearms were streaked with noticeable veins that sat comfortably on his silky olive skin. Sheila stared at him like he'd grown a horn.
"What the hell are you doing?" She gave him a dirty look as a flush crept up her face. Her big green doe eyes opened wide and her brow knitted. What the hell is wrong with this guy?
Then she added. "...Are you insane? Is this kind of a joke?" She pulled her arms and glanced at the man. All her thoughts stopped as if her heart took over from her head every time they were close. The man had a way of seating, shoulders squared, that let her see he was entirely serious.
"You have to be kidding me, please tell me somebody came here and told you everything," Vergel murmured.
"Everything what?" she asked in an uproar. What on earth is happening? She was never the give-me-joke kind of girl yet she knew there was something radiated from within that rendered her irresistible to both genders. Men desired her and women courted her friendship. She was like that forever. Yet, this silly handsome man wasn't funny at all. If this was a joke. Then it was as lame as the shows from Julius telly.
"That you are one of us now?"
"What?" She responded as she bit her lip as her confusion was on edge.
"That you are a vampyre." His expression closed up as she gave him a questionable look.
"The hell are you talking about, vampyre doesn't exist, and who the hell are you?" She added sarcastically. If he was a killer isn't he supposed to kill her now? or maybe a burglar? She thought.
"Yes, they exist, and I'm one of them...I'm Vergel Vutler ...Now feed." He offered his arm again. How could someone think so much in a second? This woman was giving him headaches from his never-ending questions. Why on earth would he kill her? or took something from this mundane apartment? There was nothing here that interests him.
However, her thought was so innocent yet unsettled him at the same time, how could she not panic? Wasn't she supposed to be panicking and fainting perhaps after such information? Vergel thought to himself.
"Are you serious?" She asked him as the color drained out of her face.
"Yes, I am. So feed and don't waste my time."
"f**k you! There is no way that you are a vampyre or something...and get out. You are not welcome." She paled as the man's eyes turned fiercely-red.
"Do not test my patience, human!" He exclaimed. His fangs started to elongate from his gums and his eyes changed color.
Suddenly, her eyes glazed over and she whispered. "Do you feel that?" She looked around. What on earth is this? It's like there is a bright golden thread that came from this man, it was wonderful and unnerving at the same time. She thought to herself.
Vergel stared in confusion, he did not see that coming. Not only because of her unusual question, but also the spectacular shift in her body. Her heart rate stopped and her eyes became perfectly golden. "Feel what?" he implored, he wasn't expecting this. This human was beyond surprising.
She responded hypnotically, "A soft soothing hum in the air. You don't see or hear that?" She held her fingertips up as if trying to touch whatever was in the air.
"Impossible." He murmured. Apprehension coursed through him, he wondered if she was playing a game in an attempt to humor him. But it seems unlikely, her heart rate would not have stopped. Impossible, no one had ever seen his essence. Only he could see it and not that long, a second or so. But this human, maybe her unique bloodline could catch a glimpse of it? He wondered.
He was beyond amazed. It was like she was touching it. And for the fact that she wasn't craving for blood. It made it more intriguing. There was a beat of silence before he announced. "That's my essence."
"What?" She asked. It was like she was in a trance-like moment. It was so beautiful, so extraordinary and she felt so at home. She never felt this comfortable before. It was something that made her wish to just stay right here right there and touched this wonderful and soothing thread radiating from the man.
"You are touching my essence."
"What is that?" She inquired. Her eyes met his. Vergel moved towards her, as though there was an invisible string between them, an irresistible force drawing him in. He stopped in front of her, so close that she could smell his earthy ocean scent.
He gazed upon her perfect golden orb, her skin glistening with a sensual sweat. His eyes were drawn to the blond river that gently caressed its way down her neck, reaching just below her shoulder blades. If the gods were real, he told himself, then this woman was their masterpiece.
"You are touching my soul sweetheart."
