The Guardians

*THE BOOK* Aiko is 25 years old , works at the library , living with a simple life. One day she goes to work as she always do. She working at the counter registering a customer to buy book or to rent book , novel , comic and magazine. At the evening , closing time , she dusting cleaning the book alley book shelf. She found a peculiar book. The cover of the book is black and dark red the design that Aiko think is quite unique. She tlit her head , staring at the book. She open the book , the paper is black and it blank but it torn piece by pieces. "I have never seen book like this before. I think someone left this , this is not from here. i'm gonna keep it and find who it belong." Aiko said. Then she goes back home. She put the book in the bag and she go to the kitchen and preparing for her dinner , She getting hungry after back from work after finish cooking then she just had dinner , after cleaning the dishes , she go take a shower and go to sleep. She doesn't concern about the book because she to tired and sleepy. *A week later* Aiko going back to work, she then meet a girl wear colourful dress have blonde hair and there's a man behind her, tall and wearing white tuxedo. Aiko staring at him. It's look like the man is visible to others. Only Aiko and the girl with him can see his existence. The man finally realize Aiko probably can see him. Then the man whisper at the girl and pointed to Aiko. Aiko turn her head pretend she doesn't satre at him. But then the girl came near Aiko an greet her. " Hi. My name is Haru." said the cheerful girl and reach out her hand. " Aiko." Aiko say her name and take Haru hand. They shake hand. " Do you work here?" ask Haru. "Yes i am. Do you need any help?" Aiko answering. " You can see Mr. Hatori?" Ask Haru then pointed to Hatori the man wearing white tuxedo. Hatori then waving his hand 🖐️. " Yes i can see him." Said Aiko. " You can?? Can i meet you after you finish work. There something i need to ask you. We can meet at the park near here at 6 pm. Okay? Here my contact. " said Haru handing her contact number to Aiko. " But why?." Aiko astonished. "You'll know. See yaa then." Haru waving to Aiko then left the library door. She look happy and cheerful. *THE MEETING* After closing the library door and lock with the key. Aiko then walk toward the park where Haru promise to meet. At the park Aiko can see Haru sit at the swing. Hatori swinging her. They see Aiko then Haru give her big smile. "Hi Haru. Sorry I'm a little late." Said Aiko. " Ahh.. it's okay Aiko chann. Came here! Came here!" said Haru. " What do you want to tell me Haru?" Aiko ask while she sit at the swing next to Haru. " You know not many people can see Hatori. In this human world. I just found out you can see Hatori and this is rare and I thought you and i can be friend. Because everyone here think I'm a crazy person because they see me talking alone. Haha. Actually Hatori is my guardian. Do you have book like this right? " Then Haru open her bag then let Aiko see the book. The book is white and sparkling with diamond. And the paper of the book is also torn. " Eh!! I have a book like this but is not the same colour. I have black and dark red. " She just remember she have keep a book like that but not the same colour but it's torn piece by piece. " Don't you have guardian also? I don't see any around you right now." ask Haru. " I don't really quite undertand about that book actually, to tell the truth i just found this a week later." and open her bag and let Haru see her book. Before she try open the book. Hatori interupt their conversation. " Shussh!! Something here. Be prepared Haru. " Said Hatori. A giant spirit monster out from the ground. Mad. Try to eat or kill them. " Run Aiko!" Haru pish Aiko to save her. Before Aiko try to run. The giant spirit monster grab her leg and another giant spirit monster come out from the ground. Aiko can't believe what she seeing right now , fear , scared the giant spirit monster is to ugly to see. She thought she was dreaming. "Aaaaaarggghhhhh! Haru im scared!! LET ME GOO!! What should i do!!" Aiko try kicking the spirit monster with her leg. "Summon your guardian!!" Scream Haru. " I don't know hooowww!!" Aiko reply. " Take out your book! Torn a little piece of the paper and bite the piece of paper , that's the way to summon your guardian!" said Haru. "What??" Aiko processing what Haru said. She then try torn a little piece of the paper and bite it. While the monster grabbing her two leg. Open it mouth try to eat Aiko. "Like this??" Aiko bite the paper while being in fear. Puff!! While panicking . A smoke came out then there is a Man in black apparel with red hair came out. The man look at Aiko with his sharp eyes. "Help me." said Aiko a tears came out from her eyes the pain of the giant monster pulling her leg. The guardian grab the monster head and take out his sword then stab into the heart of the giant monster. In the blink of their eyes the monster vanish. Then he take out the sword aiming the other monster heart, throw his sword to the heart of the other monster. The giant spirit monster also vanish in thin air. Being dust and the wind blow the dust away. Haru also drive the monster away with her Mr.Hatori and run back to see Aiko. "Aiko chan!! Are you okay?" Ask Haru then see Aiko guardian. " Why dont you tell us your guardian is Level S?" said Hatori. " Hatori is level A." Said Haru. " Hisoka senpai." Hatori greet to Hisoka. Hisoka just stay quiet and look at Aiko. He sword vanish at his hand like a magic.His aura is intimidating. " Where did you find my book?" Hisoka then ask Aiko " At the library." said Aiko in trembling hand " A weak human. " said Hisoka. " I'm sorry." Said Aiko still puzzled. Then Haru and Hatori said good bye. "Let's be friend and meet again okay, Don't forget to call me." Said Haru. "Okay Haru. Thank you for today." Said Aiko. Haru and Hatori then walk back home. "Let me walk you home. Fragile human!" Hisoka said in anger. " No need. Ican walk by myself." Aiko said still awkward. " I personally don't care about you. I want my guardian book is safe." angry Hisoka. " I'm so sorry. Here your book. I just found it by accident when im cleaning the book shelfvat the library I work." Explain Aiko. " Listen human. You need to understand this. I'm a guardian spirit. Once you hold that book. I can't take it back untill you old or die." said Hisoka try to grab the book but it became invisible to Hisoka. "See." " I'm what? " panicking Aiko. " D.I.E. dead!!" preassuring Aiko. Aiko silent. "Is there another option? I don't think i need this , and abiut what happen is really scaring the s**t out of me. I don't think i can handle this. Please take this back." Try giving the guardian book back. " The book find you , because you capable. So you need to take care of the book from the evil spirit no matter what. That beyond my power to take that book back. Summon me when the monster pop up. Understand? " Said Hisoka strictly. " I understand, I'll try my best. By the way what is level S? " ask aiko. Hisoka glare. "This human is reallybdumb. know nothing about other world" think Hisoka. " Guardian angel has 6 level. S, A, B, C, D, E. So level S is the higher rank and powerful. So my master should be a royalty but ended up with you. Weak human and not even a royalty" explain Hisoka and judging Aiko from top to bottom, disgust look. " I'm sorry for being weak." sad aiko. " Spirit monster also has level. The spirit we killed today is level C. Worm spirit. Is weak but also can be dangerous too if evolved after they eat human flesh. You need to be careful." Said Hisoka. " I'll keep that in mind. This is my house." After short walk they arrive at Aiko house. Hisoka just walk through the wall. using guardian power. " Wait! " while unlocking the door by key. Aiko found Hisoka at the center of her bedroom. Hisoka chanting a mantra with her hand gesture. A kekkai shape and veil the house. Is for the protection of the house from monster. " What is it for?" ask Aiko. " Protection for you and the book from other monster." said hisoka short. "Then goodnight." then vanish in thin air. "Thank you." said Aiko even hisoka not listening. Aiko staring at the ceiling trying to understand what happen to her. She look in the mirror. pinch her cheek. it hurt.She guess she not dreaming. *ANOTHER MONSTER* It's Sunday. Aiko see contact number Haru then call her from her cellphone. Then set up to have a lunch together. At the cafe. "Haruu!" Waving her hand. "Here.. Here.. Aiko." They have lunch together. The waitress serve them a coffee and tea. " Here.. You should read this book." said haru. " It's the list of spirit monster in this world. You need to becareful. Because only people like us can see this spirit over here." hand over the book to aiko. " Where you get this?" " Hatori give me." " Is hatori always kind to you? " " He is. What about hisoka? " " Emmm.. He not that nice, but he maybe caring a little bit. Perhap. " " Every guardian is loyal to their master. But hisoka is level S, he may be got two master that he serve. " " Oh i see, is it because he to powerful?." "Every higher rank guardian tend to have two master at the same time to separated their power for back up. That what hatori said to me." Aiko open the book list of spirit monster. " Cerberus level A.. medusa level A.. Bla.. Bla.. Bla.. Ehh!. Even cockroach, rat spirit level E, too many type of spirit animal" Aiko scratch her head. " You should learn about that. If you want to learn more. You can came to my villa there a passage through the other world. We can go to the other world academy. So we can learn how to depend ourself." said Haru. " i'll think about it. Im still new at this and try to understand this. Why only we can see the spirit?." Ask Aiko. "It's because certain of our ancestor may have been dealing to the spirit world , so some of us got the sixth sense from them to continuing their mission. saving the world from evil spirit. Don't you know anything about that? Don't you parent explain it to you?" Haru explain. "I don't really knew my parent because they left me with my grandma , but grandma now in the better place. so i live alone." say Aiko. "Well. that explain everthing then. poor you. " symphaty Haru toward Aiko. After saying good bye, Aiko walk back home. She stoped by rat spirit, is big like a dog, and the spirit can talk " Eat.. Eat.. Eat.. ". And Aiko being chase with the rat spirit. She take out her guardian book while panicking and torn the paper. Bite it. Boom 💢 Hisoka step the head of rat spirit and kill it with his sword. Easy. "This monster is level E, is too easy for me. Can't you kill it by yourself. You can stab the heart or cut the throat , follow the dark light at the spirit body. Dont depend on me all the time. I got things to do. My other master is waiting for me to kill an level S spirit." said Hisoka mad. With his eye squinting to aiko. " I dont know how to depend myself. I don't know any martial art. " said aiko. " You should learn by now or else. If the book got the other hand, my power will be taken and misused. You have to be responsible by that!" Hisoka bluffing. Aiko just keep silent.Thinking.
